Rhema's Reality for Childhood Cancer Research Rhema's Reality founded by Jacob Johnson & Rhema Butler age 14 in January of 2011. Rhema had over 100 tumors in her stomach, one the size of a football.

Rhema was diagnosed with a rare stomach cancer in 2009 when she was only 12!!! She went to the doctor several times because she was having bad knee pain, the doctor said she was only seeking attention, he was so wrong!!! I met Rhema recently at church. I asked her what school she went to, she told me she didn't go to school because she has cancer. I began tearing up and gave her a hug. That night

I got her number and couldn't stop thinking or talking about what she had told me. I woke up the next morning and decided it was time to make a change. I decided to do something that involves the community helping, not like a non-profit organization but more to bring people together just to make something happen! Bring awareness to childhood cancer. People need to know what children are going through. I brainstormed on names, ideas and where to donate and where to even start! After talking to Rhema, we decided we wanted to donate all of our proceeds to Seattle Children's Hospital. Seattle Children's Hospital is where Rhema has been getting treatment. Rhema, I know together you and I can make a difference:) AND guess what??!! WE are now a non-profit!!! Please help us make a difference!

Sadly, Rhema passed away on June 6, 2011. We will continue to fight childhood cancers in honor of Rhema.
