As we near the anniversary of the day our world stopped 22 years ago, I am once again reminded of the pride in the country, the unity and patriotism-which was expressed on the days following 9/11/01. So I ask you to join me on Tuesday, September 12, 2023 and every Tuesday morning, by waving your American Flag and coming together to help your community remember all those who served and honor their service and their family's service, especially those who volunteered during the War on Terror following the events of September 11, 2001.

More than anything, we MUST teach our children about those who choose to serve and the courage and commitment it takes to be a part of the small number of Americans who protect our freedoms. Once again, please remember September 12th as we wave the American Flag proudly and never forget Free isn't free and it MUST be protected
