🐾💙 FROM FERAL TO FRIENDLY… NOW READY FOR THEIR FUREVER HOMES! 💙🐾

Remember our sweet little ladies, Munchkin and Dutches?! 🥹❤️

Well, we have some VERY exciting news to share!

After weeks of patience, love, dedication, and learning to trust, these two beautiful girls are officially UP FOR ADOPTION! 🏡🐱💕

When Munchkin and Dutches first came into the care of Purrfect Kitty Mission, they were absolutely terrified of humans. Every unfamiliar sound, movement, and touch was frightening to them.

But look how far they've come! 😭💙

They've learned to play with other kittens, accept affection, and discover that humans aren't so scary after all!

However, their journey from feral to friendly isn't completely finished just yet! ❤️

While these girls have made INCREDIBLE progress, they will still need families who understand that socialization is an ongoing process.

🐾 WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN THEIR FUREVER HOMES:

💕 Patience & Understanding: These girls may still be timid in unfamiliar environments. They need someone willing to give them time to adjust without rushing them.

💕 Continued Socialization: Daily interaction, gentle handling, playtime, and positive reinforcement will be essential to maintaining the progress they've made.

💕 Consistency & Routine: A calm, predictable environment will help them continue building confidence and trust.

💕 A Lifetime Commitment: We don't want these babies bouncing from home to home. They've worked too hard to overcome their fears, and they deserve stability.

💕 Lots of LOVE: Because underneath those once-frightened little faces are two beautiful souls just waiting to blossom even more! 🥹

PLEASE UNDERSTAND: ❤️

Socialization doesn't end when a kitten becomes friendly. Without continued positive human interaction, previously fearful kittens can become withdrawn or frightened again, especially during the transition into a new home.

We have worked incredibly hard to get these little ladies where they are today, and we want their future families to continue that beautiful journey!

We aren't looking for perfect homes. We're looking for patient, committed, loving humans who understand that trust is earned, not forced. 💙

These girls have already shown us just how much love and patience can change a life. Now it's time for someone special to help them write their next chapter! 🏡🐾

🚨🐾 BREAKING UPDATE ON SIMBA — HE’S EATING!!! 😭❤️🙏

SOMEBODY PINCH ME BECAUSE I CAN HARDLY BELIEVE WHAT I AM ABOUT TO TELL YOU ALL!!!

SIMBA IS EATING!!! 😭🐾❤️

After last night, when we truly believed all hope was lost, we NEVER expected to be sharing an update like this.

My heart was absolutely shattered. I spent the night holding him, loving him, praying over him, and preparing myself for the possibility that our sweet boy wasn't going to make it. 💔

But something told me not to give up just yet.

I prayed and prayed, asking God for just ONE more chance for this little guy. 🙏

We made some changes to his care after last night. We continued providing fluids, added a little Karo syrup for glucose support, and adjusted his medication plan to Clavamox only.

AND TODAY, OUR LITTLE FIGHTER STARTED EATING!!! 😭❤️

I cannot even begin to explain the emotions running through me right now. Just yesterday, I was telling you all that his little body was shutting down and that we were running out of options.

And now, here he is, showing us that he still has some fight left in him! 🥹🐾

Does this mean Simba is out of the woods? Absolutely not. He is still incredibly fragile, and we know things can change quickly. But after everything this baby has endured, seeing him willingly eat is a HUGE moment for us!

We don't know what tomorrow will bring, but TODAY we are celebrating this little victory! ❤️

To everyone who prayed for Simba, cried with us, sent encouraging words, and followed his journey, THANK YOU!

Yesterday, I was preparing to say goodbye. Today, I'm watching him eat. 😭🙏

And if there's one thing rescue has taught me, it's that sometimes the smallest victories mean the absolute WORLD.

💔🐾 THE PART OF RESCUE THAT TRULY SHATTERS MY HEART… SIMBA’S HEARTBREAKING UPDATE 🐾💔

This is the part of rescue that absolutely breaks me. The part that no amount of experience, dedication, or love can ever prepare you for. 😭💔

I have been meaning to update everyone on our sweet little Simba, but the truth is, I have been holding off because I was desperately hoping I would have better news to share.

Unfortunately, that is not the reality we are facing. 💔

Despite everything we have done, the medications, treatments, around-the-clock care, and endless love, our sweet Simba is not improving. His little body is struggling, and we are beginning to fear that he may simply be too far gone.

And I cannot even begin to explain how much that hurts.

You see, we have been blessed with so many incredible success stories lately. So many little lives pulled back from the edge. So many miracles that reminded us why we keep fighting.

I think somewhere along the way, I forgot just how devastating it feels when love, determination, and medical intervention simply aren't enough. 😭

I know deep down that I have not failed Simba, but goodness gracious, it sure feels like I have.

I would give anything to make this little boy healthy again.

And while hospitalization may sound like the next obvious step, I also have to think about his quality of life, his suffering, and what his tiny body can realistically endure.

It would break my heart even more to ask hardworking people who have already given so much to continue pouring their money into treatments that may only prolong his suffering rather than save his life.

Sometimes, even with the best intentions, continuing aggressive treatment isn't necessarily the kindest decision. We are carefully considering our next steps and what is truly best for Simba, with veterinary guidance.

Because rescue isn't just about saving lives. Sometimes, it's about knowing when to put their comfort before our desperate desire to keep them here. 💔

And that is a reality I am struggling terribly with tonight.

As you can see, I am holding him close, loving on him, talking to him, and telling him over and over again just how much he is loved.

I want him to know that he matters.

That his little life matters.

That even though his time with us may be heartbreakingly short, he was never just another kitten.

He is Simba. He is somebody. And he is loved beyond words. 🐾❤️

I am still praying for a miracle, even though my heart is beginning to understand that the miracle I am begging for may never come. 🙏😭

Tonight, I am an emotional wreck. I haven't felt this defeated in a very long time.

And this is exactly why I beg our community to PLEASE SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CATS.

Please understand that kittens like Simba are born into circumstances they never asked for. They suffer from illnesses, parasites, malnutrition, exposure, and neglect. Some are found in time. Others have already endured more than their tiny bodies can handle.

Simba deserved a healthy beginning. He deserved a chance to grow up, play with toys, chase little balls, and experience everything a kitten should.

Instead, he is fighting a battle no innocent baby should ever have to fight. 💔

And this brings me to something else I desperately want our community to understand.

When Purrfect Kitty Mission asks for help, we aren't asking simply for the sake of asking.

We aren't asking because we expect everyone to reach into their pockets every time we post.

We ask because sometimes the difference between life and death is having the resources, foster homes, transportation, and medical funding available BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE.

Every donation matters.

Every foster home matters.

Every person who shares our posts matters.

Every single person who chooses to spay or neuter their animals is helping prevent another innocent life from suffering.

And sometimes, that little bit of help is the very thing that gives us the opportunity to write another success story instead of a heartbreaking goodbye.

Please, if you can donate, donate. If you can foster, foster. If you cannot do either, share our mission and help us educate others.

You truly never know when your kindness could save a life that everyone else thought was hopeless.

As for my sweet Simba, we are taking things moment by moment, making sure he is comfortable, and carefully deciding what comes next.

For now, all I want to do is hold him close and remind him that he is safe, that he is wanted, and that he will never have to face another moment without love.

If love alone could save him, Simba would live forever.💔😭

🐾 WHEN COMPASSION MEETS COMPASSION — WE STEP UP! 🐾

Our rescue team had the pleasure of meeting a wonderful young lady today who absolutely touched our hearts. 💕

She recently graduated from high school and is currently attending vocational school with dreams of becoming a Veterinary Technician! 🩺🐱 Along the way, life has thrown some unexpected hardships her way, including temporarily losing her job — but one thing that hasn’t changed is how determined she is to care for her sweet kitty.

Her kitty is currently dealing with a mild to moderate re**al prolapse, and despite everything this young lady has going on, she has been doing everything she can to properly manage her girl’s symptoms until she can receive veterinary care.

She has kept a cone on her to prevent licking, kept the affected area protected and moist, adjusted her diet to softer, easier-to-digest foods, and has been carefully watching her every step of the way. Thankfully, her symptoms have drastically improved, and we are so proud of the care she has provided. ❤️

After meeting her and seeing the passion in her eyes — not only for her own kitty, but for the future she is working toward in veterinary medicine — Purrfect Kitty Mission knew we wanted to help.

🐾 We have secured her kitty an appointment with our veterinarian for Monday at 9:30 AM.

Until then, PKM will continue helping with supplies and supporting her in safely managing her kitty’s symptoms while closely watching for any changes that would require emergency veterinary care.

Sometimes life can take an unexpected turn in the blink of an eye. Someone can be doing everything right and still find themselves needing a little help. This young lady didn't give up on her kitty — and we don't want her to feel like she has to do this alone.

She has also created a GoFundMe to help with the cost of her kitty’s care, and we would love to see our community rally behind someone who is working so hard to build a future helping animals while already showing so much dedication to her Kitty LUCY!

Tonight, we were contacted about a very special girl — a rare orange female kitty who appears to be pregnant and is showing concerning signs that could potentially be pyometra, a life-threatening uterine infection.💔

She was found by someone who graciously adopted from Purrfect Kitty Mission in the past, and when she realized something wasn't right, she knew exactly where to turn.🐾❤️

This sweet mama needs to be seen by a veterinarian as soon as possible. We don't yet know exactly what we're facing, but we DO know this isn't something we want to wait on.

🐾❤️ THE MAN BEHIND THE MEOWS — IZAIAH, AKA BEAN! 🫘🐱

I want to take a moment today to recognize someone who deserves so much appreciation — my husband, Izaiah, who many of you know and love as Bean! 🫘❤️

Without this man working tirelessly behind the scenes — never asking for recognition and never needing to be seen — Purrfect Kitty Mission would not be running as smoothly as it is today.

You see, we are a team, and we have seen it ALL together.

Izaiah has stood beside me through the heartbreaking days of unexpected losses and celebrated with me on the beautiful days when a kitty fought against the odds and made it through. 🐾

He has been there when we've helped an abused or neglected kitty finally realize they are safe. He's been there through the late nights, stressful days, tears, exhaustion, emergencies, and all of the little victories that make everything worth it.

Through every high and every low, he has always been right by my side. ❤️

So today, this moment is for Izaiah.

Thank you for believing in this mission, supporting me, loving these animals right alongside me, and doing so much that most people never get to see.

Purrfect Kitty Mission wouldn't be what it is without you.🐱❤️
