Our kitties need your help! We’re running low on SeleHold (generic Revolution/selamectin), an important monthly parasite prevention we use to keep our cats healthy and comfortable. ❤️

SeleHold helps protect cats from fleas, ear mites, mange mites, roundworms, and hookworms. It also breaks the flea life cycle by killing adult fleas and preventing flea eggs from hatching. 🐱

For rescue cats, this makes a HUGE difference and since using this product we haven’t seen a flea in our foster homes since! Fleas and parasites can cause intense itching, skin problems, anemia, weight loss, and make an already vulnerable kitty feel miserable. Keeping them protected means healthier, happier cats who can focus on healing and finding their forever homes. 💕

We hate to sound like a broken record, but we truly need your help.🙏

Right now, ALL of our current foster homes are FULL, and we continue to receive calls and messages about pregnant mama cats and kittens who desperately need a safe place to go. 🐱💗

Without foster homes, we simply cannot say “yes” to as many cats and kittens as we would like to. And that is heartbreaking. 💔

We are looking for foster homes and foster families willing to open their hearts — and a little space in their homes — to a pregnant mama, a litter of kittens, or cats and kittens in need of temporary care.

Good morning due to a power outage from last nights weather activity we wanted to notify you that are momma kitty we had scheduled for today’s appointment has been canceled 😮‍💨 We will keep you all updated when she goes in to be seen, she’s currently on antibiotics, eating and drinking well.

Good Morning!

We are seeking a calm environment for a young kitty who got into some trouble and is close to giving birth.

She isn’t “feral”, but is a stray. The folks who have been feeding her state that she is a little selective and prefers one caretaker, but she’s just learning to trust humans. She does just fine with other cats and their pup!

Can anyone help this young momma have some security during her delivery? Of course, we will provide food, litter and most importantly these littles and mom will not have to endure street life and reproduce as they all will be vetted and sterilized.

We wanted to make sure our community knows our mission statement, a few things have changed within our structure so it’s important everyone has a clear understanding as to why we are here and what are mission is.

🐾 Purrfect Kitty Mission 🐾

Mission Statement:

Purrfect Kitty Mission is a 501(c)(3) foster-based nonprofit animal rescue dedicated to improving the lives of cats and kittens throughout the Greater Olean area. Our primary focus is Trap-Neuter-Vaccinate-Return (TNVR) and providing compassionate intervention for cats facing critical or emergency situations.

As a foster-based rescue, we work through a network of dedicated foster homes rather than operating a traditional shelter. This allows us to provide individualized care, rehabilitation, medical attention, and safe placement for cats and kittens in need while helping reduce the number of homeless and unwanted cats in our community.

When resources and funding are available, Purrfect Kitty Mission also works to make essential veterinary care more accessible to local residents by offering discounted veterinary services, spay and neuter assistance, and vaccinations. Through these preventative services, we strive to address the root causes of pet overpopulation and help families keep their cats healthy and safely in their homes.

Our work is strengthened by our commitment to collaboration. We are actively involved with community partners, local organizations, veterinary professionals, volunteers, foster families, and concerned citizens throughout the Greater Olean area. By working together, we seek to create sustainable solutions for community cats, assist cats in crisis, educate the public, and build a more compassionate and responsible community for both people and cats.

Our mission is simple: to save lives, prevent suffering, reduce cat overpopulation, and empower our community to create a better future for cats and the people who care for them. 🙏

We have raised $75 dollars towards this momma, sadly the kitten has passed away early this morning, momma has eaten and seems to be resting from giving birth but does seem to be in pain, please help us raise the money so she can be seen if your able 🙏

We desperately need help for a stray mama cat who recently gave birth to several deformed kittens. Sadly, all but one of her babies have passed away, and now Mama is very sick and declining quickly.💔

As stated from the good samerarian momma has a high fever, blood and pus coming from her vaginal area, and a terrible odor. We are extremely worried that she has a serious infection or a life-threatening complication and that she needs veterinary care as soon as possible, we plan to make an urgent appointment at Lakewood Veterinary - Rushford in the morning.

We are asking for any help at all— or even simply sharing this post.

Please help us give her a chance. She has already lost her babies, and she deserves the opportunity to survive and heal.
