AEEJ Association of East-European Jewry

AEEJ Association of East-European Jewry The Association of East-European Jewry (AEEJ) was created as a non-for-profit organization in May 1993.

AEEJ was founded for the following purpose:

The AEEJ has organized seminars and forums about Jewish and general practical subjects, Holocaust commemorations, memorials, and meetings on the memory of the Holocaust victims. The organization hosts an Annual Remembrance Day “Nobody is Forgotten and We’ve Forgotten Nothing” at the Brooklyn Holocaust Memorial Park in commemoration of Holocaust survivo

rs. Several hundred Russian-American Holocaust Survivors, World War II Veterans, and representatives of major community-based organizations, come to the event and commemorate the millions of Jews who perished during World War II. The commemoration hosts a children’s essay contest “Never Again,” and has been successful in ensuring that the past and all of its Jewish history is passed down to the future generations.
