🔦Meet Darrell Leber, our Director of Partnership Development, who also continues to lead Partner Engagement Trips around the world!

His journey with JFHP began in an unexpected way. While leading a Work & Witness team to the Dominican Republic, he was asked to deliver Jesus film equipment overseas. At the time, he admits he even asked, “What is the Jesus film?” 😊

That trip changed everything!

Watching hundreds gather in a soccer field and seeing many respond to the gospel, opened his eyes to the power of local ministry and church planting through film evangelism.

Since then, he has witnessed countless lives transformed across the globe:
- Healing miracles
- Protection in dangerous and remote areas
- Refugees responding to the gospel in Ethiopia
- Entire villages coming to Christ in Zambia

One unforgettable moment happened in Zambia when three young men accepted Jesus at a film showing. The next night, they returned with 33 friends and family members who also wanted to give their lives to Christ.

When asked what keeps him at JFHP, his answer was simple:
“It’s a calling for me. People around the world are starving for Jesus. We bring them an opportunity to eat the Bread of Life.”

His hope for the future of JFHP?

“To continue putting the right tools in the right hands in the right places.”

Jesus finds us in our suffering like with Oliver in Senegal and gives us renewed hope.
“Two years ago, I got sick and couldn't work to feed myself and my family. We tried everything from traditional medicine to witch doctors for healing, but nothing worked. I became an alcoholic to cover the pain I felt, and my wife was at the end of her rope.
During that time, a Christian man renting a room in my house shared the hope of Jesus with me. He told me that if I simply believed, Jesus would save my life. That day, I accepted Jesus into my heart.
Today, Christ is at work in my health and life. I give Him all the glory!”

Praise God for His Forgiveness! 🙌 “I heard that the JESUS Film Team would be in my village, but initially I was not interested. On the day of the showing, several people came to my house to invite me, and I reluctantly accepted. Now that I’ve seen the JESUS film, I thank God for those people who came to my house. I saw how Jesus loved the adulterous woman regardless of her past, and how she was forgiven and used by God. My tears of joy wouldn’t stop flowing! I went up quickly when they invited us to pray, and gave my life to Jesus.” – Florinda in Guatemala

Testimony and Prayer Request from Brayan in Guatemala 🙏“I am grateful that God changed the course of my life. I used to be an alcoholic, but I have been delivered from that life and now I am a new father. I hope to finish my discipleship soon so that I can be baptized and become a member in the local church.
