We celebrate year round but always find some little extra joy on Pride month 🥰 At Kanoa Rescue Foundation we pride ourselves in being LGBTQ+ founded, friendly, & inclusive. It’s important to us to have a safe space for LGBTQ+ people to volunteer, adopt from, & interact with. Thank you so much to everyone who continues to support us.

We are so happy to announce that Ellie has been adopted 🥰😍🎉 Our precious, s***ky, full of life lady found herself a very loving home who will love her each & every day. She even has a new brother that looks like he could be her TWIN 🥹

📣🐾 Pupdate on Hub: this 14yr old Pom joined our program the other day & has been adjusting well. We have found out that he is in kidney failure. Due to this he will be in our hospice care program rather than going into adoptions. This way we can make sure to provide him with the needed end of life care & support he deserves. He had his whole world turned upside down at no fault of his or his owners. His family loved him dearly & had to go to memory care & unfortunately Hub could not go with them. He’ll get to live the remainer of his life with us to ensure stability.

Hub primarily enjoys sleeping & snuggling up on the couch with his foster momma Tonya 💛

We are asking for donations to help support Hub either through our hospice care Amazon wishlist or through monetary contributions. Hub is on a special diet due to being in kidney failure. Any support is greatly appreciated 🙏

💛🧡Please welcome Hub to the KRF family. This handsome senior boy joined our program today. He has had one parent go into memory care & his other parent has been in recovery due to a broken hip & will be going to memory care as well. A relative has been paying for him to be in boarding in hopes to reunite Hub with his parents. Unfortunately the memory care they are in does not allow pets so Hub will not be able to join them. Thankfully he has had a relative looking out for him & reach out for help so Hub could continue to get the love & care he needs.

Hub does have hair loss all over his body, you really can’t tell right off but once you start looking him over you can see it. Please consider donating to Hub’s care so we can get him medically checked out 🙏

He’s a bit nervous with all the transitions but still such a sweetheart. 💛🐾 We are ensuring to provide him with all the comfort & time to decompress.

These situations tug at our hearts. We know these family love & care deeply for their pets. Having to make life transitions without your furbabies is incredibly tough. We hope to make the circumstances just a little bit lighter for the family & the furbaby. 💕

Happy $5 Friday! This week we’re asking for help with our CareCredit bill, this account has been used to save & improve so many lives for so many medical cases. Initially we had to it up to $15,000 😳🙈 and we have since put this account on hold to pay the debt off 👏 With the help of our incredible community we have paid off $5,253.69 🤩 If we could raise $280 or MORE today to help pay on it we’d be incredibly thankful. 💕

💪 We have been working hard to pay off our medical debt because we know it’ll create a stronger foundation for our organization to work off of.

💛🐾Please welcome Ellie to the KRF family! This happy go lucky girl is looking for an adoptive home 🏡 She’s full of s***k, joy, & cuddles! 🐶 Ellie would love an active home who will provide her with energetic outlets & give her plenty of time to cuddle on the couch with them. She is good with other dogs & cats, she can have a bit of wild child playstyle so other animals in the home need to have a good appreciation of this. She is around a year old & around 25-30lbs. We are told she is a corgi/Belgian Malinois/lab mix 🐾

🌈 The wonderful & beautiful life of Sugar. This pretty girl joined our KRF family 3 years ago. She landed herself in the best foster home 🏡 who ended up adopting her because they just couldn’t imagine her going anywhere else! This morning she peacefully passed away on her sleep. Surrounded by love. Sugar truly got the best of the best! She was well cared for & admired by her family & went on so many wonderful camping trips. 💕 We’re so thankful we got to be a part of her journey & so happy that she landed in the arms of such a wonderful family. Rest easy pretty girl, you will be missed!

😍 Mumford update! Now loving known as Tut. Our handsome boy was adopted by his foster family & has been living the spoiled life ever since! He turned 2yrs old the other day 🎉 When we rescued him we didn’t know how long he would have but he continues to defy the odds & continues to thrive each & every day. 🐱 Because we had donors who cared, because of vet teams that worked tirelessly, and because we have fosters who work day & night to save lives, this handsome boy was given a chance to live. 🫶

Animals like Tut are WHY we are working so hard to get our sanctuary up 👏 every day we work towards this goal so even more opportunities can become a possibility.
