Just by way of update, we are free!!! They were more than happy to get rid of us today. They didn’t like that we were questioning what and why they were doing what they were doing. But nonetheless, we got to go home! Mom is feeling much better today. She slept finally for the first time since being there last night. Her blood pressure is just a bit low today. Tomorrow we see the cancer doctor to discuss the type of cancer and treatment plans and options. Thank you everyone for the prayers. Please continue to pray for strength and healing for my mom.

Well we have had a bit of a detour. My mom went into the hospital Sunday so we left from Deming NM after morning service to head yo Amarillo. Got her late Sunday night and have been sitting with my mom since. She has three tumors, one in her neck, one in the center of the chest, and one in the lower right lung. The one in her chest and neck is causing swallowing and breathing which is what landed her in the hospital. It is causing her esophagus to be pushed to the side. They are doing a biopsy and then doing a port later today. They won’t decide course of treatment or removal until they know what type of cancer they are dealing with. I am thankful that my husband has made sure I could be here when my parents have needed me. Pray for wisdom as we navigate these trying times.

We made our way down to Deming NM on Friday. Enjoyed some more scenery and some funny signs for towns. I think whoever named the towns out this way was being a cheeky. Lol the sign that says Arrey Darrey was humorous to me because about a mile before that one there was another sign that said Darrey Arrey! 😂😂 it sure gave us a chuckle as we were driving. We did a Hope training today with four pastors in attendance and numerous people from Mt. Calvary Baptist as well as some local people from the community. It was a good day of training! We are looking forward to preaching all day tomorrow before heading out to TX. Thank you for praying for us as we Help churches help the hurting.

We were so blessed to be able to drop in on College heights Baptist Church as we have worked our way down to Deming NM. We were so blessed to be a part of the Hope class. They started just over a year ago and the energy and excitement for what they are learning was so awesome to see!!! Then today we had a special treat from Pastor Corley. He showed us his presentation on horse training and then let us try our hand at it as well! It was so awesome to see principles brought out from the Word of God and then to see how nature itself responds to those principles. It truly was a special treat!

Got up early this morning and went to Arches national Park. We were there by 6:30am and let me tell you the view was stunning!!! Pictures do not even grasp depth of color, terrain, or beauty in that place! We were able to go through the whole park and get in the road 9:30 am. We sure are blessed! I will post the pics of the end of park next.
