We’re helping a domestic violence survivor raise $250 for gas to get herself and her kids from Utah back home to family in Kentucky, where they have a safe place to land.

She’s not asking for a handout—she’s been actively reaching out and looking for work to earn the money herself. We’d just love to help her close the gap.

Our nonprofit isn’t currently in a financial position to cover it, but if our community can pitch in $5, $10, or whatever you can, 100% will go toward getting this mom and her kids home safely.

Can’t donate? A share helps too!

We’re just 1 month away from our Back-to-School Drive, and we’re only halfway to our goal of providing 300 backpacks to local students.

Did you know that 1 in 3 children in Ogden won’t have all the supplies they need to start the school year?

You can help change that.

We’re accepting:
🎒 New or gently used backpacks
✏️ New school supplies

Drop off donations at , or make a monetary donation through our Venmo. Every backpack and every dollar helps give a child the confidence to walk into school prepared.

Together, we can make sure more kids start the school year with what they need.

Your donations don’t stop with us.
They reach a mother finding safety after escaping domestic violence… and a two-year-old who has already faced more than most adults ever will.

They place a stuffed animal into the arms of a scared child, give a toy to a little one who has never had one, and celebrate a little boy who has never experienced a birthday before.

Your donations put food on empty tables, clothes on those who have none, diapers on babies who need them, and provide the simple necessities so someone can take a shower, breathe for a moment, and feel just a little less weighed down by life.

Your donations are not just dollars.
They are hope.
They are healing.
They are lives being changed every single day.

From your local neighborhoods… to families across the world in Africa and Russia… your generosity is reaching farther than you know.

What you give is not forgotten.
It is felt.
It is needed.
And it is changing lives, one person at a time

Hey everyone, I normally don’t like asking for help unless it’s absolutely needed, but right now we could really use some support.

Our community center rent is due, and we currently have several families needing immediate assistance. Usually Matt and I cover things out of pocket when donations run low, but the past couple months have hit us hard with unexpected medical expenses and vehicle expenses, and we just can’t fully carry everything alone right now.

One of the women we are helping is only 23 years old, 3 months pregnant, and recently left an abusive relationship. Right now, we are trying to help her safely get back home to her family so she has support and stability during this time.

We also have two families currently struggling financially while caring for children who have been diagnosed with cancer. They are trying to stay afloat while balancing treatments, missed work, travel, and everyday life expenses.

We are trying to raise $1,000 to help cover the center rent and provide emergency support to these families.

If anyone is able to donate, sponsor part of the rent, or help in any way, it would mean more than you know.

Every dollar truly goes back into helping people — food, transportation, emergency needs, hygiene items, housing support, and keeping the center doors open for the community.

Thank you for continuing to support Altar’d Lives and the families who lean on us during some of the hardest moments of their lives. ❤️

Our hearts are with sweet Journey and her family right now. 💔

Journey has been bravely battling a rare form of cancer in her eye. After months of chemotherapy, her family received hopeful news that she had been cancer free for three months. Doctors moved forward with corrective surgery in hopes of restoring some of her eyesight.

During surgery, doctors discovered another small growth. A biopsy has now confirmed that the cancer has returned. Journey will soon be back at Primary Children’s Hospital as doctors determine the next steps for treatment.

No family should have to carry this kind of emotional and financial weight alone.

At Altar’d Lives, we want to come together as a community to help support Journey, her mother Menazuri, and her brother Sylas during this difficult time. Between hospital visits, treatments, missed work, travel, meals, and everyday bills, the burden adds up quickly.

We are asking our community to rally around this family through:
🤍 Donations
🤍 Gift cards
🤍 Meals
🤍 Prayers
🤍 Sharing this post

If you would like to help support Journey and her family, please message Altar’d Lives directly.

Let’s remind this family they are not fighting alone. 🙏
