Sweet little Nugget is wondering where his forever family is!

This 6 month old cutie is ready to be your mini shadow. He loves playing and snuggling. He gets along with other dogs. Is kennel trained and about 95% potty trained. He has the biggest heart in his tiny body. He's currently around 8lbs, we think he's possibly a chihuahua, dachshund, and pug mix so he should stay small. His adoption fee covers his vaccines, microchip, and neuter.

Honey update — this girl was saved just in time. 🍯

Honey had her spay today, and during surgery they discovered she had pyometra, a serious and life-threatening infection of the uterus.

The vet said if we had waited another week, she likely would not have made it.

Let that sink in.

This sweet girl was failed for far too long, but today she is safe, she is loved, and she got the medical care she desperately needed just in time.

Honey still has healing ahead of her, but she is already showing us what an incredible dog she is. She loves everyone, does well with dogs, is indifferent with cats, and is basically a giant lap dog with the sweetest soul.

We are so grateful she is here. We are so grateful we got to her in time.

If anyone is able to donate toward Honey’s medical care, we would be incredibly grateful. Her rescue was urgent, and her care is extensive, but she is worth every bit of it.

SOS FOSTER NEEDED
We need a foster for this scared little girl ASAP.
She is probably around a year old, very timid, and clearly overwhelmed — but she is also incredibly sweet. No aggression, no drama, just scared and unsure.
She needs a calm home where she can decompress, feel safe, and learn that life isn’t so scary.
DRR provides supplies and support. Foster just needs to provide patience, safety, and a place for her to land.

The dogs made a shopping list… and weirdly, none of it is optional. 🐾

We updated our Amazon Rescue Wish List with the things we use nonstop: food, p*e pads, cleaning supplies, treats, toys, and all the little things that keep rescue dogs safe, fed, clean, and loved.

Honey update — look at this girl now. 🍯

It is amazing what a few days of love, safety, and proper care can do.

Honey has already had two medicated baths to start treating her skin infection, and she is scheduled to be spayed this Friday.

When Honey came to us, she needed help. Now? She is showing us exactly who she is: an absolutely amazing girl with the sweetest heart.

Honey loves everyone she meets. She does well with other dogs and is indifferent with cats. She is basically a giant lap dog who just wants love, comfort, and a person to call her own.

Honey is ready to start looking for her forever home, and whoever gets this girl is going to be so lucky.

Welcome to the good life, sweet Honey. You earned every bit of it. 💛

Puppy Alert!

Meet Nugget!!

AKA Nuggs, Nuggy man, the Nug.

Nugget is about 6 months old and best guess Chihuahua, Dachshund, and pug mix who is high on life and full of stoke! He very silly and loves to play! He gets along with both large and small dogs, is curious about cats and chickens, but he really just wants to hang out with his people. This little guy is ready to be your wing man for life!

He's practically potty trained as long as he's given enough chances to go out, kennel trained, knows come, sit, and down. He's a very smart boy! Currently about 8lbs.

A little update on Miss Cricket 🦗💛

Cricket is still the sweetest little girl, but we are learning more about what she needs to feel safe.
She is about 6 months old, around 15 lbs, spayed, vaccinated, and ready for adoption — but Cricket is not a “throw her into chaos and hope for the best” kind of dog.
She is skittish with loud noises and fast movements, and she is currently very anxious around men. Like… all men. She may warm up with time, patience, and consistency, but right now she needs a home that understands she is still learning the world is safe.
Cricket does well with cats, dogs, and kids, but because fast movements scare her, she would do best with calm, respectful kids or a quieter home.
What Cricket needs: ✅ A patient adopter
✅ A calm home
✅ Slow introductions
✅ Someone who won’t force her before she’s ready
✅ A safe space to decompress
✅ Bonus points for another confident dog friend
Cricket is loving, sweet, and absolutely worth the time. She just needs someone who understands that scared dogs don’t need pressure — they need safety.
If you have the kind of home where Cricket can settle in at her own pace, she may be your girl. 💛
