Okay real talk — trail volunteer numbers have been low and the Gateway Trail deserves better than that. 😅

We’re in the FINAL phase of connecting Willow Creek to Fern Springs in Monte Rio Redwoods and we need bodies.

This year, the Blue Tailed Skinks are partnering with the King Ridge Foundation, and we hope you’ll join us in supporting their goal of raising $5k toward the Foundation’s $100K goal.

Founded in 2009 alongside Levi Leipheimer’s GranFondo, KRF has raised over $3.6 million for at-risk youth in Sonoma County and beyond, funding therapy, counseling, housing, and healthy activities, including donating bikes to organizations on the front lines for kids in need.

It’s a mission that resonates with us as cyclists and as a community. Your donation, big or small, helps keep that work going.

This past weekend the Gianni Trail crew worked on the lower section of Big Island inside State Parks property to construct and install a new wooden slab cat walk bridge. Other members of the team worked on water bar and berm sloping which included hiking water up to cure the new berms and water bars 💪

Big Island received some much needed love on our Valentines Trail Work Day ❤️

Gianni Cycling are hosting a Pint Night on Wednesday, February 11th, from 6:00-8:00ish pm at Crooked Goat Bewing in Sebastopol and you're invited! Stop by and hang out. If you're not a member yet, chat with us about joining the herd.

The event will be held in the back room with a dedicated bartender and $1 off pints with your Gianni pint glass. Gianni merchandise will be available for sale, including pint glasses. CASH ONLY for merchandise sales.

A successful trail day this past weekend helped to clear downed trees and debris. Seven Springs remains closed, but all other trails are open. Enjoy the sunshine ☀️
