Please join Active Claremont at our monthly Speaker Series event. For November, 2025, we are privileged to host a presentation/update on the final project segment of the Foothill Gold Line and Light Rail Program from Pomona to Montclair, as well as additional insight into what Foothill Transit will be doing to support the use of the Gold Line.
Our guest speakers include:
- Ed Reece: Claremont Councilmember and chairperson of the Gold Line Construction Authority Board of Directors
- Lisa Levy Buch: Foothill Gold Line Chief Communications and Strategic Development Officer
- LaShawn King Gillespie: Deputy CEO, Foothill Transit

Hello Claremont neighbors. Active Claremont will be hosting a forum for the upcoming Claremont City Council election. We invite all community members to attend so that they can be better informed about their choices when they hit the polls.

This forum is open to the public and is free of charge. It will be at the Hughes Center in the Grove Room on Thursday, September 19th at 7 PM. The audience members can submit questions for the candidates to respond to.
