Trenton’s Promise

Trenton’s Promise 🌟 Trentons Promise 🌟
✨ Kindness. Courage. Compassion. In memory of Trenton Switzer 💙 (4.18.25), taken too soon in an automobile accident — but his light lives on.

We rise against bullying, spread love, and carrying his legacy.

Before Trenton’s Promise, there stoodTrenton.

Trenton reposted these videos:

“Unfortunately all the bullying did affect me.”

And:

“Behind the countless hours in the gym, every dumbbell lifted, the late nights, is just a boy who got bullied for being fat.”

Bullying is often dismissed as “just kids being kids.”

But words leave marks.

Sometimes the hurt doesn’t show.
Sometimes it’s hidden behind a smile, a laugh, or a kid who seems strong.

Trenton shared these messages for a reason.

Today, we share them as a reminder that bullying is real, its impact is real, and every child deserves kindness, acceptance, and a place where they belong.

Be the reason someone feels seen, not the reason they feel alone.

✨ Follow the Journey ✨

For a long time, our dream has been bigger than just events and fundraising.

Since the beginning of Trenton’s Promise, we have dreamed of creating a place where youth feel supported, valued, encouraged, and empowered.

Today, we’re sharing a vision we’ve been quietly working toward: the Trenton’s Promise Youth Resilience Center.

There is still a lot of planning, learning, fundraising, and hard work ahead, but every dream starts with a first step.

This vision is not intended to replace or compete with the incredible organizations, programs and services already serving youth in our community. Instead, our goal is to work alongside them by helping fill gaps, creating additional opportunities for support, and ensuring more young people have access to positive, encouraging resources when they need them.

This isn’t just about a building. It’s about creating opportunities for youth, promoting kindness, preventing bullying, building resilience, encouraging healthy connections, and ensuring young people know they matter.

The Trenton’s Promise Iron Games helps support youth-focused programs, outreach efforts, and the continued growth of Trenton’s Promise as we work toward making the Youth Resilience Center a reality.

Every act of support, every partnership, and every person who believes in this mission helps move this vision one step closer to reality.

💙 In loving memory of Trenton Switzer.

The Trenton’s Promise Iron Games is about more than lifting.
It’s about community. It’s about honoring Trenton. It’s about showing people they are not alone.
This event was created to turn pain into purpose and continue building something that can make a real impact for our youth and our community.
We want young people to know:Their life matters.Their voice matters. And they never have to struggle alone.
Even if you never touch a weight, there is a place for you here.

Come:• Sign the honor wall• Celebrate Trenton’s life on his 18th birthday• Support a mission focused on helping youth• Wear a shirt in support• Participate in raffles• Connect with the community• Help us continue creating impact
We will also have:• Community lifting• Hydration station• Cotton candy for everyone• Food vendor truck on site• Music & community support

This is not about being the strongest person in the room.

It’s about standing together, supporting one another, and creating a space where people feel seen, valued, and supported.
Every share, every person who attends, and every act of support helps us continue Trenton’s legacy and work toward making a difference in the lives of others.

You do not have to lift to make an impact. You just have to show up.

The Trenton’s Promise Iron Games were created to honor Trenton’s legacy while bringing awareness to bullying, supporting youth-focused outreach, and helping fund future community programs through Trenton’s Promise.

This event is about showing up for one another, creating positive change, and reminding people they are not alone.

One life can leave a lasting impact — and Trenton’s story continues to inspire people to stand up for others, lead with compassion, and turn pain into purpose.

For 11 years, Trenton made it his mission every Memorial Day to place flowers for our fallen heroes and those who served this country. It was never something he had to do — it was something he felt called to do.

And he never did it for attention.

He did it quietly, with a genuine heart and a love for people that ran deep. He wanted every veteran, every fallen hero, every forgotten grave to know someone still cared. Even at a young age, Trenton understood the importance of remembrance, respect, and kindness.

He believed every life mattered.
Every name deserved to be remembered.
Every sacrifice deserved honor.

Trenton was the kind of person who wanted to change the world simply by loving people better. He carried compassion so naturally, and he gave it freely to everyone around him. The world feels quieter without that kind of heart in it.

This is now the second Memorial Day without him here physically to continue the tradition he started.

And the truth is… there are moments it takes our breath away knowing the boy who spent so much time honoring others is now someone we honor too.

But Trenton’s Promise exists because his love did not end here.

So today, we remember the fallen.
We honor those who served.

And we continue the work of kindness, compassion, and remembrance that Trenton started all those years ago.

Because changing the world doesn’t always happen loudly.

Sometimes it happens through a young boy placing flowers at graves… asking for nothing in return except to make sure no one was forgotten.

Forever proud of you, Trenton.
Forever carrying your promise. ❤️🇺🇸

One thing about Trenton’s Promise… we may be small, but we are showing up. ❤️

This was our very first event setup while supporting another nonprofit’s community event. Seeing Trenton’s Promise displayed for the first time, sharing resources, meeting people, and spreading awareness for youth mental health, anti-bullying, and kindness meant more than words can explain.

Everything we do is in memory of
Trenton Switzer and for every young person who needs reminded that they matter.

This is only the beginning.
