🇺🇸 VETERANS — DID YOU KNOW YOU MAY QUALIFY FOR HELP WITH HOME MODIFICATIONS? 🇺🇸

Our veterans deserve to live safely and independently in the homes they love. ❤️

The VA offers a program called Home Improvements and Structural Alterations (HISA) that may help eligible veterans pay for medically necessary modifications to their primary residence.

🏡 What types of improvements may qualify?
🔹 Permanent wheelchair ramps or improved home entrances
🔹 Roll-in showers and accessible bathroom modifications
🔹 Lowered kitchen or bathroom sinks and counters
🔹 Certain plumbing or electrical changes needed for home medical equipment

💰 Eligible veterans with service-connected disabilities may qualify for up to $6,800. Other eligible veterans may qualify for up to $2,000, depending on their circumstances and medical needs. These are lifetime benefit limits, and all work must meet VA requirements.

🇺🇸 You do NOT have to assume you won’t qualify! If you have a disability or medical condition that makes getting in and out of your home or using essential facilities difficult, it’s worth contacting the VA to learn about your options.

📋 Start here:
👉 HISA Program Information: https://www.prosthetics.va.gov/psas/HISA2.asp
👉 VA Form 10-0103: https://www.va.gov/forms/10-0103/

Please remember that medical justification and VA approval are required, so contact your VA healthcare provider or local VA facility before starting any work.

❤️ PLEASE SHARE! You never know which veteran or veteran’s family may need this information. Sometimes, knowing where to look is the first step toward making life a little easier for someone who has already sacrificed so much for our country.

🇺🇸 Thank you for your service. You are not forgotten! 🇺🇸

🎃👻 WELCOME TO DEAD PARK! 👻🎃
HALLOWEEN PARTY — OCTOBER 31, 2026
📍 VFW POST 10077
🕸️ 21+ EVENT

Get your costumes ready and come celebrate Halloween with us! We’re throwing a night of spooky fun, laughs, costumes, pumpkins, food, and a whole lot of Halloween mischief! 🧙‍♀️🎃

💰 PAY WHAT YOU CAN AT THE DOOR!
There is no set admission price — your donation gets you in! And there’s a reason behind it. ❤️

100% of the donations collected at the door will go directly toward our annual Kids Christmas Party at the Post. 🎅🎄

Every year, we try to make Christmas just a little more special for the children in our community. Growing up, I remember those little Santa visits, the small snacks, and walking out of our local fire department knowing that our community cared about us. Those may have seemed like small things at the time, but they meant something.

Now we get the opportunity to give that same feeling to another generation. ❤️

So come spend Halloween with us and help us turn a night of Halloween fun into a little extra Christmas magic for local kids. 🎅✨
