📌❗Registered Nurse (RN) – Health Home ‼️
Make a Difference. Build Relationships. Enjoy a Schedule That Works for You.
Are you an RN looking for a rewarding opportunity to use your clinical skills while making a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals?
Join our nonprofit team as a Registered Nurse (RN) in our Health Home Program, where you’ll have the opportunity to support individuals living with mental health challenges and other complex needs. This is more than a nursing job—it’s an opportunity to become a trusted advocate and help people navigate their healthcare, connect with resources, and achieve greater stability and independence.
A Nursing Career with Purpose
In this role, you’ll work collaboratively with service users, healthcare providers, behavioral health professionals, and community partners to coordinate care and help individuals access the services they need.
You’ll use your nursing expertise in a setting where your time, compassion, and clinical knowledge can have a lasting impact. Rather than rushing from patient to patient, you’ll have the opportunity to get to know the people you serve, understand their unique needs, and be part of their journey toward better health and well-being.
Enjoy a Schedule Designed for Work-Life Balance
Say goodbye to the hospital schedule!
• Day shift
• No overnight shifts
• No holiday shifts
• Predictable, consistent schedule
• Opportunity to build meaningful relationships with clients over time
• Work in a supportive, mission-driven nonprofit environment
This is a great opportunity for an RN who wants to continue making a difference through nursing while enjoying a healthier balance between work and personal life.
What You’ll Do
• Provide nursing assessment, education, and support to Health Home members.
• Help individuals manage chronic health conditions and improve their overall wellness.
• Coordinate care between primary care, behavioral health, specialty providers, and community services.
• Advocate for clients and help remove barriers to accessing healthcare and social services.
• Develop trusting relationships with individuals who may face significant mental health, medical, and social challenges.
• Monitor health needs and help clients follow through with recommended care.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to develop and achieve individualized goals.
• Document services and maintain accurate clinical records.
What We’re Looking For
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
• Strong clinical assessment, documentation, and communication skills.
• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to help people facing mental health and other life challenges.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Strong organizational and care-coordination skills.
• Experience in behavioral health, community health, care management, or working with individuals with complex needs is a plus.
Why Join Us?
At our organization, we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to live a healthier, more stable, and fulfilling life. Our nurses are an important part of making that possible.
If you’re ready to move beyond the traditional nursing environment and use your RN skills to advocate, empower, and make a real difference, we’d love to hear from you.
Come make a difference in someone’s life—and enjoy a nursing career with no overnights and no holidays.
Wage: $28.50 to $35.52 with education and license incentives.

What a way to spend the day at Garrett County Lighthouse, Inc.!

Today was filled with games, an awesome dunk tank from our friends at RM Rentals - Weddings and Events, ice cream floats, water balloons, water blasters, and endless laughter. It was the perfect opportunity for everyone to let loose, have fun, and make memories together.

As the fun came to an end, we also said goodbye to our Wellness and Recovery Center Manager, Maddison, whose eight-year journey with Garrett County Lighthouse has come to a close. We wish her all the best as she begins her next chapter.

As one chapter ends, another begins. Please join us in welcoming Jessica Uphole as our new Wellness and Recovery Center Manager. We look forward to all that’s ahead.

Thank you to everyone who helped make today such a special and memorable celebration! 💚💦🍦
