🚨 CODE PURPLE AIR QUALITY ALERT – FRIDAY 🚨

The Maryland Department of the Environment has issued a Code Purple Air Quality Alert for Western Maryland for Friday.

A Code Purple means air quality is very unhealthy for everyone. Smoke and air pollution levels are expected to be high enough to increase the risk of health effects for the entire population.

Protect yourself by:
🔺Avoiding strenuous outdoor activity or exercise.
🔺Limiting time outdoors whenever possible.
🔺Keeping windows and doors closed to reduce smoke indoors.
🔺Taking extra precautions if you have heart or lung conditions.

Please monitor local air quality conditions and take the necessary steps to protect yourself and your family.
