Our Distribution Center afternoon opportunities need a few extra helping hands next week, with Wednesday (August 12th) afternoon is our biggest need!

Every box packed, every pallet sorted, and every rescued food item helps get nutritious meals to neighbors across Metro Detroit.

A couple weeks ago, our community showed up in a big way during WXYZ-TV Channel 7's Day of Giving. Thanks to the incredible generosity of donors, community partners, and the support of WXYZ, Cynthia and Edsel Ford, and the Scripps Howard Fund and Scripps Howard Foundation, together we raised $90,000, which is 270,000 meals that will make their way back into our community.

A new Michigan Bridge Card is on the way.

New chip and tap-enabled Bridge Cards have begun being mailed to Michigan food and cash assistance recipients at no cost.

Your benefits and account aren't changing, and your current card will continue to work until your new card is activated (or through Oct. 30, whichever comes first).

Before your new card arrives, take a moment to make sure your mailing address is up to date in MI Bridges.
