Day 1 at the 50th USA/Canada Lions Leadership Forum in Memphis, and Oak Harbor Lions Mike, Anna Corina, Dawn, and Rachel are all in—seminars, exhibits, and new friends from everywhere. We were also happy to reunite with friends from last year, including the wonderful Jessica Wentworth, International Director Mark Mansell, and PDG Debbie Mansell.
A highlight of the day was dining with International First Vice President Dr. Manoj Shah. At his table, Mike and Anna Corina talked with him about his work creating LionsEdge and shared how excited they are to have been accepted.
LCIF Coordinator Anna Corina also led Mike, Rachel, and Dawn as they became Presidential Supporters of LCIF, receiving commemorative backpacks for their donations.
The banquet brought Memphis energy with Elvis impersonators, and our favorite was the one and only Chris Wooters. Immediate Past Forum Chairperson Anne Smarsh set the tone from the stage, and thank you, Forum Chairperson Ardie Klemish, for bringing the house down.
Grateful. Inspired. Ready for more.

Dolly Parton was recognized as an honorary member and a Melvin Jones Fellow of the Sevier County Lions Club.
The Sevier County Lions Club acknowledged her as a Melvin Jones Fellow, which is one of the highest forms of recognition by Lions Clubs International Foundation, honoring humanitarian service and commitment to the community.

High honors, indeed.

Cajun Crab Boil Community Fundraiser
What an incredible day at the VFW V-Dome!
Our Cajun Crab Boil brought the community together for great food, good company, and a shared purpose. Huge thanks to our partners — the Canteen of Post 7392 VFW Post 7392, Garage of Blessings, and the Whidbey Island Veterans Guitar Alliance — for making it possible.
From the steaming pots of crab to the smiles around the tables, this was community at its best. Grateful for everyone who showed up, helped out, and supported the cause.
We serve better together. 🦀

What a fantastic evening last week at the Oak Harbor Lions Club Social during the Sounds of Summer Concert Series at Windjammer Park!

We enjoyed the music of Petty Thief (Seattle’s premier Tom Petty tribute band) while connecting with friends and community under the park’s golden hour skies.

A special highlight: we proudly inducted our newest Lion, Wes Moore!

We were also honored by a visit from PZCs Rosemary and Travis Walkup. Thank you both for joining us and sharing in the fellowship!

Grateful for the laughter, dancing, bubbles, cupcakes, and pure Lions energy that filled last week’s evening. This is how we tribe!

And we’ll be right back out there today enjoying the sounds of Joel Gibson Jr.! Come join us for more music, connection, and Lions spirit at Windjammer Park.
