Let’s get the garden party started! Your Oak Harbor ACE is delighted to be part of this year’s OH Garden Club Tour & Tea.

First off, if you purchase a ticket online you must pick it up at our Will Call table on the day of the tour at ACE Hardware on 150 SE Pioneer Way in Oak Harbor. Find us at the entrance to the store from 9am - 12:30pm. No other garden location will have tickets.

To kick things off they would like to invite all ticket holders to enjoy complimentary refreshments that hopefully will help you sprout some extra energy for the tour ahead. Don’t miss their garden specials created just for today’s tour. It will be a perfect chance to grow your garden without watering down your wallet.

Garden Spotlight #5: The Serene Labyrinth

Step into a labor of love! For nearly 14 years, this couple has transformed a neglected, overgrown woodland into a thriving 2.5-acre sanctuary.

Built with Heart: Using mostly repurposed materials, they’ve created a serene labyrinth featuring: Flowers, herbs, fruits, and vegetables, Hand-built structures (flower shed, greenhouse, animal enclosures). A tranquil pond and gravel pathways connecting five distinct garden spaces.

The Vibe: This is a space designed where time stops. It’s a place to gather, connect with the earth, and discover something new with every walk through the grounds. As the owners say, "Every day we attain more knowledge about our unique property just by walking through it."

Come experience the beauty of patience and purpose in action.

Garden Spotlight #4: A Study in Contrast

Discover a garden that masters the art of duality! This unique property features two distinct outdoor rooms connected by a stunning French-inspired stucco home, proving that a garden can be both wild and refined.

The Bluff Garden (Open & Breezy)
The View: Sweeping vistas of the shoreline and Saratoga Passage.
The Vibe: Designed for lingering with morning coffee or sunset drinks.
The Plants: Layered perennials, ornamental grasses, daisies, roses and peonies that dance in the coastal breeze.

The Street-Side Sanctuary (Intimate & Enclosed)
The Privacy: Handcrafted wood fences and a living green hedge of espaliered apple and pear trees.
The Details: A structured French boxwood garden, hydrangeas, lavender drifts, hostas and a massive stone uncovered during construction—a nod to the land's history.
