We want to hear from you! What types of new, different, or fresh activities and programs would you like to see at Mayslake?

Think outside the box! Comedians? A reptile or animal show? Music and entertainment from different countries and cultures? Magic? Tap dancers or acrobats? Interactive programs? Something completely different that we haven’t tried before?

Drop your ideas in the comments! All recommendations are welcome. While we can’t promise every suggestion will make it onto the calendar due to budget, availability, space, and other logistics, we’d love to hear what sounds fun and interesting to you!

We had a phenomenal turnout for our Dog Days of Summer Dance Party with Erik Donner this afternoon! Erik kept the dance floor full throughout the entire show and even ended the afternoon with a Dolly Parton tribute. A special thank you to Avid Health At Home formerly Independence-4-Seniors for joining us and sponsoring a free drawing for our residents. What a fun afternoon!

Residents were glowing at our Neon Party! We enjoyed a great evening of music, dancing, and fun with Blue Rocket Band, a Mayslake favorite! A special thank you to our dining room staff for the delicious sandwiches!

Thank you to everyone who joined us for Summer Sip & Support! We had a wonderful evening, and we're so grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, or helped make the event happen. A special thank you to Carrie Hodge and Amber Gullickson, who lead Mayslake Village's fundraising efforts. Their hard work, creativity, and countless hours of planning make events like this possible, and our residents benefit from their dedication every single day.

Every dollar raised through our fundraising events goes directly toward activities, special events, and meaningful experiences for the older adults who call Mayslake Village home. Thank you for helping make those moments possible. We couldn't do it without the support of this incredible community.

We hope you'll join us again for our next fundraiser, Bingo for All Ages, at Bubblehouse Brewing Company in Lisle on September 30!

Our annual Ice Cream Social was another sweet success! 🍦 Families enjoyed an afternoon filled with live music from Andrew Blendermann, delicious ice cream, face painting by Liz Saraceno, and a special visit from the Westmont Fire Department.

A huge thank you to the Westmont IL Lions Club, our incredible resident volunteers, and everyone who helped make this event possible. We couldn’t do it without you! It was a wonderful afternoon. ❤️
