The Seoul Duckwoo Lions Club successfully implemented a community support project to assist vulnerable households during the winter season. Thanks to a DCG of US$2,000, the project provided essential heating resources to low-income families facing energy insecurity.

Through this initiative, Lions members directly delivered 3,000 briquettes to households in Seoul, benefiting 48 individuals and helping them maintain safe and warm living conditions during the coldest months.

We are delighted to celebrate the official launch of Phase II of the Central Province Comprehensive Eye Care Project in Kabwe, Zambia, a collaboration between Lions Clubs International Foundation, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and the Ministry of Health.
Building on the strong impact already achieved through this collaboration, Phase II will expand comprehensive eye care services across 11 districts in Central Province, helping thousands of people experiencing blindness or visual impairment gain access to screenings, treatment, pediatric referrals, cataract surgeries and community outreach services.
The launch brought together representatives from Zambia’s Ministry of Health, Lions Aid Zambia, local Lions leaders and local leaders from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern Africa, highlighting the impactful collaboration behind this important initiative.
Together, we are strengthening sustainable eye care systems, expanding access to care closer to home and helping more children and families receive the vision services they need to thrive. We are excited to see the continued impact this next phase will bring to communities across Zambia.
