Message from the LCIF Chairperson:

A remarkable four days visiting the five Multiple Districts of Taiwan, witnessing the extraordinary generosity and dedication of our Lions family.

Alongside PID Ta-Lung Chiang, LCIF Trustee Yang, and outstanding leaders from across the island, we witnessed firsthand the true power of Lions service. In just four days, the Lions of Taiwan pledged an astonishing US$6.4 million to Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF). Their steadfast commitment directly empowers life-changing service and disaster relief in every corner of the globe.

Beyond their generosity, their hands-on impact was truly moving. We visited diabetes screening camps, blood donation drives, vision screenings for senior citizens, inauguration of service vehicles, and a school nurtured by the local district as a proof that where there is a need, there is a Lion.

We were extremely grateful as the Lions lighted candles just a few days preceding Diwali- truly depicting how diversity is so highly respected in our organisation.

District D1 in Panama received a US$39,080 Diabetes Grant from LCIF.

Thanks to this funding, Lions were able to continue their local diabetes initiatives, including leadership training, a summer camp for children living with type 1 diabetes, and a series of educational workshops for parents and caregivers of these children.

District 33S in Massachusetts received a US$100,000 LCIF Hunger Grant to renovate a local food pantry. The grant supported the building of a new 5,000 square foot open space with natural lighting, as well as plenty of warehouse space to provide healthy food in a grocery store environment. This enabled the pantry to provide food for 80,000 people a year.

Europa Forum 2026 | Karlsruhe, Germany

What an inspiring gathering of Lion leaders, partners, and friends! Europa Forum 2026 truly embodied our shared commitment to service, leadership, and global fellowship.

Historic Partnership: A landmark Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between LCIF and Multiple District 111 Germany, pledging to raise USD 10 million over 5 years in support of LCIF-aided projects.

Special Olympics: We had the honor of welcoming Special Olympics athletes, celebrating an incredible partnership with the Lions of Europe.

Cross-Continental Collaboration: Productive sessions with District Governor teams, dynamic seminars on core member priorities, and insightful reports from the Euro-Asia and Euro-Africa committees.

Music competition and Young Ambassador: Promoting talented youngsters for their innovative service initiatives and their love for music has been a long standing tradition at Europa Forum; this year too we witnessed outstanding performance from the competitors.

Thank you to the host committee and all European Lions for an unforgettable forum focused on growing our impact, our foundation, and our membership!

LCIF provided a US$17,917 Hunger Grant to District LD 3 in Brazil to equip an existing volunteer kitchen. The equipment included an industrial stove, refrigerator, bread oven, mixer, blender, furniture, cookware, and other kitchen supplies. The facility supports volunteer culinary training and the preparation and distribution of emergency meals, with plans to reach thousands of people annually.

At Europa Forum, LCIF grants and fundraising are both in the spotlight! LCIF Chairperson A.P. Singh shared information about LCIF grants during this morning’s seminar, highlighting how Lions’ generosity helps bring meaningful humanitarian impact to communities around the world.

And the friendly competition is heating up! LCIF coordinators and staff gathered ahead of the Europa Forum duck race to raise funds for LCIF.

A big thank you to Johnson & Johnson - Vision for helping bring clearer vision and brighter futures to children in Kenya!
Through Sight For Kids, students at Taveta School have received their new eyeglasses following recent vision screenings, giving them the opportunity to see clearly, learn with confidence, and experience the world in a whole new way!

A special thank you to Stephen T. Isaacs and the dedicated ABE-Kenya team in Kasigau for going the extra mile to deliver these glasses and bring so much joy to the children!
