MY HEART IS OVERFLOWING WITH DEEP GRATITUDE! The amazing Fran Awalt Gotti and her wonderful & supportive friends and family have made the Annual Benefit Fighting Against Pancreatic Cancer, In Memory of, Fran's late husband Michael Gotti, such a PHENOMENAL and over the top successful event! The time, effort, heart, cost, and love she and her family put into this event each year is beyond admirable, inspirational, uplifting and hopeful! I've attended the last 4 years and am always blown away by the love and support shown by everyone there! Fran, you are so dear to me, and I truly and so thankful and blessed by you and your genuine heart and friendship. We are so alike, in MANY ways and I'm forever grateful for our friendship and hearts that completely understand each others. You always go ABOVE & BEYOND to make everything so perfect, in all ways! I am ecstatic to announce to everyone reading this, that the total amount raised through this beautiful benefit was....DRUM ROLL PLEASE.....$3,511!! Yep, you read that right!!!! Isn't that unbelievable! Thank you again, for being so generous and also for your ADVOCACY, dear Fran! Never stop being AWESOME and making BIG things happen! You completely ROCK!

Last Saturday August 1st we held our 6th Annual Benefit for Pancreatic Cancer in honor of Michael Gotti. All proceeds go to Dawn Hill Fight Foundation. We could not do this without all of you…first off our Basket Donors you guys are awesome and the baskets are phenomenal…most of you donate yearly and I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means to me, how much all of you behind those baskets work so hard to make them so special.

Thank you to Cindy Awalt, Eleanor Mason and Lee and Gina Hildreth for contributing to the crabs and shrimp…..and to everyone who brought appetizers, desserts or anything, you all are greatly appreciated, this is a huge help that makes this benefit possible. We couldn’t do it without all of you. We were able to surpass our last years total of $3005.00 as this year we raised $3511.00. Thank you to each one of you who bought tickets, Venmoed money or personally handed me money..and to those who weren’t able to attend, but still donated, even at the last minute which continued to bring up our total…I thank you all so much, with all my heart, you all mean so much to me…I love you all…the old faces that have been here since the beginning, to the new faces that arrive every year…each one of you I will remember.
Thank you to all my family and friends who have continued to remember an awesome man who would be overwhelmed with gratitude if he knew how hard you all worked. Last night we were able to hand the check over to the President of Dawn Hill Fight Foundation Rebekah Cugle who does so much for this foundation and the people she helps…I am proud to call her my friend.
To my children, their spouses and my grandchildren…how blessed and lucky am I. You Dad and Poppy would be so proud. I love you all so much.
