August is here and in Preschool, we are moving right along, learning about how God made us and He made is wonderful! Keep reading to learn more about what we have going on this month!
Preschoolers are little artists. They experience so much joy when they create something and say,
“look at what I made!”. But we want Preschoolers to know that THEY are made by God and that they are important to God. So this month, our bottom line for Preschoolers is that God made us wonderful. We want them to experience awe and wonder as they see themselves as a part of God’s creation. When they marvel at what they can do and create, we hope they remember this month’s memory verse: “how You made me is amazing and wonderful!” (Psalm 139:14 NIrV). God made them amazing and wonderful. We pray that our Preschoolers will not just learn, but proudly and joyfully declare: God made me wonderful.
