Colonel Aquila Hall Chapter SAR

On September 16th the Society had the honor of awarding Ms. Sarah Valentine the SAR Heroism Medal for her actions on February 11th when she assisted in helping a woman escape her burning home while on her delivery route for Amazon.

The love for a fellow human, wisdom to understand what needed to be done and willingness to act represent a rare combination in one person and is a testament to her character. It was our privilege to present Sarah this award in the presence of her family and co-workers.
