💚👑 Breaking News!! Thank you Baldwinsville Central School District

We are so excited to share with you the news that Christina DeCaro, a 9th grader at Durgee Junior High School, has been crowned MISS JR HIGH SCHOOL USA 2025 by the Miss Collegiate USA Organization. Congratulations, Christina!

Christina was awarded her title on Saturday at The Hoff Theatre at the University of Maryland. She competed as Miss New York Jr High School USA in the national scholarship pageant. Christina has a remarkable commitment to leadership and community involvement. A Girl Scouts Bronze and Silver Award recipient, Christina serves as a Be Strong State Ambassador and volunteers in numerous local initiatives. She participates in theater, student council and crew, and is the creator of her own podcast, “Speak Up, Speak Out,” which gives youth across the country a platform to be heard. Christina earned the Social Media Award, Media Correspondent Award, and Junior National Influencer Award during the national week.

Christina will spend the year promoting the Miss Collegiate USA Organization’s mission to support higher education access, reduce student loan debt, elevate mental health and wellness, and champion service-driven leadership across all divisions.
