EXCITING NEWS LIBRARY LOVERS!!! In this season of giving, we have an incredible update for you!! If you make a donation to NPLFoundation.org, the Bloomwhistle Charitable Fund will MATCH your gift!!

Starting today, every donation made to the Norwell Public Library Foundation will be matched by Bloomwhistle until we reach a total of $25,000! AND, any gift up to and including $1000 will be matched 2:1. For instance, if you donate $25, we’ll receive an additional $50 so your total gift is worth $75. And if you donate $250, we’ll receive $500 for a total gift of $750! That's like MAGIC MATH!!

We are beyond grateful for this opportunity to stretch our dollars to go farther in our fundraising! Thank you, Bloomwhistle Charitable Fund, for your generosity and investment in our library.

Wow, wow, wow! Folks, we got LOUD at the library and it was a BLAST! From the video of the North River, to the flashbacks to 1975, to the delicious food & drinks & fun around every corner, this event was an epic celebration of 50 fabulous years!

As our fearless leader, Alison, mentioned in her speech, the NPLF is aiming to raise 50k by June 2026 to fill some important gaps in the library's budget - specifically, a major shortfall in the allocation to purchase new materials. Buying new materials each year keeps our library current, relevant, and vibrant - but is also important because it also allows us to remain part of the Old Colony Library Network and receive state aid each year.

While we got a good start, we still have a mountain to climb to get to 50k and if you are in the giving spirit this season, please keep NPLFoundation in mind! Again, thank you, thank you, thank you!!

Library loves!! Saturday was such a smash hit, it's taken me days to recover!! But here I am with a very important message from the NPLF board:

THANK YOU! Thank you to the patrons of this spectacular library, the Trustees, the Friends of the Library, the NPL staff!! You all contributed to making Saturday one for the books!!

TODAY IS THE DAY!!! Haven't bought ticket yet but really want to come?! YOU CAN! You can buy a ticket at the door!!

Highlights: this is an adult only opportunity to GET LOUD AT THE LIBRARY! With food from Cheever Tavern , Roche Bros. Supermarkets and drinks from , & ! Grab a drink and come play a game! Or go to the porch and stargaze! History more your thing? There will be a slideshow playing in the Historical Room! Love nature? We've got you covered- there will be a drone movie of the North River! Want to go home with a prize? Bid on the amazing raffle baskets! Truly something for everyone, because the Norwell Public Library is for everyone!!
