Here’s a sneak peek of two additional turf fields that are being developed at New Trier! These fields will support 9 different sports, 33 teams, and between 500-1,400 athletes each season, creating more opportunities for our student athletes to practice and compete. We can’t wait to see these fields in action when they open!

- During the final week of school last semester, New Trier hosted its 47th annual AP Art Festival at the Winnetka campus. This festival is a great reminder of what students can create when they have the space and supplies readily available so they can explore their ideas deeply.

The students envision, the art evolves, and having these resources on hand gives students the freedom to explore styles and ideas they may have never tried otherwise.

Thanks to supporters like you, the New Trier Educational Foundation is helping provide so many of the materials that make experiences like AP Art Fest possible.

Students in Automotive 1 and Automotive 2 are welding with industry-standard equipment, thanks to a Marran Grant from the New Trier Educational Foundation.

These welding helmets make it easier for students to work efficiently, and create a safer learning environment. Small upgrades like these make a big difference. They give students the tools and experiences they’ll use in the professional world.

- With the addition of two rolling safety ladders, students can safely and efficiently bring their ideas to life while decorating for Homecoming, Halloween, back-to-school, community events, and more. Having dedicated equipment allows for more time to create and collaborate.

Students mention they are more efficiently able to decorate the school and build school spirit, all thanks to the New Trier Educational Foundation’s Marran Grants.

Welcome to the Fab Lab! All of the GoBabyGo vehicles are designed here in the Fab Lab, a space dedicated to hands-on creation and innovation. New Trier students in Applied Arts use CAD software, 3D printing technology, and fabrication tools to customize each vehicle based on the unique needs of the kids driving the vehicle.

For months, the students work on these vehicles and communicate with their clients, the families, to develop modifications that improve mobility, comfort, and independence.

By combining engineering, creativity, and compassion, students create custom vehicles that help children living with spina bifida and other significant mobility impairments, explore the world with greater freedom and confidence.

The New Trier Educational Foundation hosts the Gala every two years to celebrate the students who take part in the programs supported by the Foundation’s Marran Grants and to honor the recipients of the New Trier Alumni Achievement Award.

During the Gala week, the alumni honorees have the opportunity to visit various classrooms, interact with students, and share inspiring stories about their life journey. Students gain a meaningful perspective about self-awareness, compassion, resilience, and how a New Trier education not only builds a solid foundation for their future endeavors but also sets them apart from their peers in any field or industry.

All proceeds from the Gala benefit the Foundation. This year, the event raised $140,000 from private donors, which goes toward ensuring that the Foundation can continue funding exceptional educational opportunities for all New Trier students.

We invite you to view this year’s impact report. It shows how the support from our donors directly shapes innovative programs that teachers and staff bring into and beyond the classroom. Diverse voices speak through the pages, showcasing core academics, student activities, athletics, faculty initiatives, and more—all supported by the Marran Grants and special projects.

The generosity of our donors is reflected in these pages, and we are grateful. Please share this with your friends and family so they, too, may learn how a New Trier education prepares our students—tomorrow’s leaders—to make an impact in the world.

Two new rolling safety ladders are helping students in Student Council take their creativity to the next level. From seasonal celebrations to school-wide events, students can more easily bring their visions to life. With the right equipment readily available, they’re spending less time figuring out logistics and more time focusing on designing, building, and collaborating. This results in smoother setups, stronger school spirit, and even more impact, thanks to support from a Marran Grant from the New Trier Educational Foundation.
