Another great Trick Or Treating night!! A special thank you to the Friends of Northfield Police Department for making sure safety was a priority, with crossing guards at all the road crossings and plenty of cruisers out! And it's comforting to know the Friends of Northfield EMS are always on the ready in case anything does happen.

The Northfield VFW Post 9874 ran the Northfield Rag S**g parade smoothly as always, with help from the Northfield Fire Department.

And thank you to EVERYONE who participated today to give the kids of Northfield and surrounding towns a night of fun!!

Pick up at Dickinson Memorial Library during normal business hours. One per family 🎃🧡

Thank you to the Greenfield Northampton Cooperative Bank for a generous donation towards the candy to help residents!

Kick Start Soccer Team,

This Thursday at 4pm is our last soccer practice of the season.

We will review all the skills we have learned during the previous weeks and then we will divide the kids into four teams and play a few games of "real soccer" with only one ball on the field. Should be great fun!

After that I will hand out award certificates to all the players. If you are unable to attend I will have certificates at the recreation commission office in the Northfield Town Hall. We will also have cupcakes to top off the celebration.

Thanks everyone for a great season and for your enthusiasm. My goal was to make this first connection with soccer (organized sports) an enjoyable experience for the little ones. For many of our players, just showing up and trying something new was a huge win. For some, they may not have been ready "yet," but I hope they will give it a try next year. Each player did so well and you should be proud of them.
