North Northfield United Methodist Church We are a caring church community of believers who welcome and encourage your participation in spiritual growth and our supporting ministries.

We are located at the corner of Sanders and Dundee in Northbrook, Ill. Sunday services are at 10 a.m. Adult Christian education is also available at 8:45 a.m. on Sundays (except during the summer). We also have several small groups that meet regularly, plus a book discussion group and a senior fellowship group. Well, North Northfield United Methodist Church was named long before Northbrook existed. The church is located near the north side of Northfield Township (actually in the northwest corner of the township) and is several miles from the current village of Northfield, Illinois. The name is true to our long heritage.

North Northfield United Methodist Church in Northbrook welcomes Pastor Auderine “Audrey” Rochet, who comes to the congregation from Rockford, Ill.

She completed her Course of Study at Garrett Theological Seminary and Perkins School of Theology. She also holds certifications from Harry S. Truman College and The Assembly of Christian Churches Theology Institute.

Pastor Rochet, who was born in the Bronx, New York, to Puerto Rican parents and moved to Chicago at age 5, has been involved in the church since childhood, serving in a variety of capacities. She has served as a Sunday school teacher, children’s church leader, worship ministry coordinator, lead singer and worship band backup singer, youth pastor, youth advisor, church administrator, women’s group leader, interpreter, and outreach and evangelism leader.

She has served as a pastor at the United Methodist Church of Elmwood Park, Cosmopolitan United Church in Melrose Park, Emanuel United Methodist Church in Chicago, and most recently at Centennial Multicultural United Methodist Church and Brooke Road United Methodist Church in Rockford.

North Northfield’s previous pastor, Rev. Dr. Min Woo, has been appointed pastor of United Methodist congregations in Zion and Winthrop Harbor, Ill. The congregation extends its thanks to Rev. Woo and his wife, Youngmi, for their ministry at North Northfield.
