This Mother’s Day, we’re celebrating the moms and mother figures who lead by example and inspire our GOTR girls to be their boldest selves. Behind every student’s success is a teacher who saw their limitless potential. Every season, educators volunteer their time to coach Girls on the Run teams and bring our program to their schools. Despite juggling lesson plans, personal schedules, and countless other tasks, they help our girls grow, and our community thrive. It's been another great week at GOTR WMA! Teams are learning about what makes a good friend and how to chose your friends. Many teams are also completing their practice 5Ks. Come and volunteer at our final 5K at UMass Amherst on June 6th with our 1,200 girls and 260 coaches and all of their families! www.girlsontherunwesternma.org
