🐾l💙 Thank You for Celebrating Viggo’s Retirement! 💙🐾

What a special day as we gathered to celebrate the retirement of an incredible guide dog and best friend, Viggo.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us, sent well wishes, donated, purchased raffle tickets, and helped make the day so memorable. It was wonderful to see so many friends, family members, supporters, puppy raisers, and community members come together to honor Viggo’s years of service and dedication.

A special thank you to Fattey Beer Co. for hosting the celebration and for contributing. As well as everyone who donated and helped support this meaningful event.

Most importantly, thank you for celebrating the amazing partnership between Nina and Viggo. For years, Viggo provided independence. Their journey together has inspired so many people, and it was fitting to honor both of them as Viggo begins his well earned retirement.

Because of your generosity, we are proud to announce that we raised $630 for the Guiding Eyes For The Blind Erie County Puppy Raising Region, helping support the training of future guide dogs and the life changing work they provide.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this celebration so special. Viggo may be retired, but the impact he has had on Nina, our family, and our community will never be forgotten.

🎠 What a fun and memorable day yesterday at Kiddieland Opening Day at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum! 🎠

The North Tonawanda Neighborhood Watch was proud to once again partner with the amazing team at the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum for this special community tradition. This marked our third year sponsoring this wonderful family event, and it continues to be a privilege to work alongside an organization that does so much to preserve this historic gem right here in our own backyard.

Even though it was a chilly and rainy day, so many great kids and families still came out to enjoy the rides, attractions, and all the fun throughout the day. Seeing the smiles and excitement made the well worth it.

We also had the privilege of taking a self guided tour before the event began, and it truly reminded us what a unique and special destination the museum is for our community and visitors alike.

A special thank you to Bert's Bikes & Fitness for generously donating gift cards that were randomly given out to kids throughout the day. Your continued support of community events is greatly appreciated.

Huge thanks as well to the incredible museum staff, volunteers, and everyone who helped make the day possible while continuing to support this wonderful institution year after year.

And a very special thank you to Ian Seppala, curator of the Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum, for helping spearhead the event and for all of the hard work behind the scenes. His efforts, along with the amazing museum team, helped make the day such a special and memorable experience for so many kids and families throughout our community.

We would also like to give a heartfelt thank you to Steve and Ellinor Ash for helping facilitate and support sponsorship efforts that help make events like this possible. Their community partnerships and support truly make a difference.

The Herschell Carrousel Factory Museum is such a special place, and we encourage everyone to visit, experience it for themselves, and continue supporting this incredible organization and all they do for our community.

We are grateful to once again be part of such a fun, positive, and meaningful community tradition here in North Tonawanda!

Don't forget about your plans this Saturday!

Join us and North Tonawanda Neighborhood Watch on Saturday, May 23rd 10am-4pm.
Admission to the museum for visitors ages 2 and up will be $1 with free admission for members.
Ride tokens for the carrousels and Kiddieland will be $1 each.
The first 250 kids will receive a free Jamie's Ice Cream Coupon!

👏 Great Meeting Last Night! 👏

Thank you to everyone who came out to the North Tonawanda Neighborhood Watch meeting last night. We had another great turnout and truly appreciate the continued support from our members and community.

A special thank you to Joe Lavey Jr and Frontline Safety Supply for providing an informative AED defibrillator demonstration and safety presentation. We truly appreciate Joe taking the time to educate our members and community on the importance of CPR and AED awareness.

We would also like to once again thank Joe and Frontline Safety Supplies for their very generous donation of a portable AED defibrillator to our organization last year. This equipment has already become a valuable asset for many of our community events and programs, and we are incredibly grateful for their continued support and partnership.

We are proud to have Frontline Safety Supplies as a great community partner and sponsor, and we look forward to working together at many upcoming events and initiatives throughout the year.
