🏈❤️ Happy Father's Day from the Patriots of Wellen Park Football & Cheer! ❤️🏈

Today, we celebrate the incredible dads, granddads, stepdads, and male role models who make a difference in the lives of our student-athletes every single day.

Thank you for the early mornings, the long practices, the game-day cheers, the life lessons, and the unwavering support. Thank you for being the ones who lead, support, inspire, and believe in our children both on and off the field.

Behind every confident student-athlete is someone who encouraged them to keep going, work harder, and never give up. Your impact reaches far beyond football and cheer, you are helping shape future leaders, teammates, and outstanding young men and women.

Today, we honor all of the father figures who sacrifice, support, and love unconditionally. We are grateful for everything you do for your families and our Patriots community.

Stay cool, hydrated and safe everyone!

🥵 Heat Advisory in effect today, June 19

The US National Weather Service Tampa Bay Florida has issued a Heat Advisory for our area from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Heat index values are expected to reach 105 to 110 degrees, increasing the risk of heat-related illnesses.

If you plan to be outdoors today:
💧 Drink plenty of water, even if you don't feel thirsty
⏰ Limit strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest part of the day
❄️ If you have air conditioning, use it. Fans alone may not be enough during extreme heat
👕 Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothing
🧴 Apply sunscreen and wear a hat and sunglasses
🌳 Take frequent breaks in the shade or an air-conditioned space
👶 Never leave children, pets or vulnerable adults in a parked vehicle, even for a few minutes
👵 Check on elderly neighbors, family members and anyone without reliable air conditioning
🐾 Walk pets early in the morning or after sunset, and test pavement with your hand before heading out. If it's too hot for your hand, it's too hot for their paws!

Know the signs of heat exhaustion and heat stroke, and call 911 immediately if someone shows signs of heat stroke.

Patriots of Wellen Park Football & Cheer is excited to welcome everyone back out for another great night of FREE Summer Workouts TONIGHT!
Whether you're already registered or just looking to come out, get active, meet new friends, and see what our program is all about, we'd love to have you join us. Our coaches are ready to help our student-athletes learn, grow, and have fun while getting a great workout in!
If this will be your first time and haven't registered yet, please complete our Google Form before arriving, or simply stop by registration when you get there and we'll help you get signed up.
