💙 Thank You for an Incredible Second Annual Back the Blue Gala! 💙
Last night marked our second annual Back the Blue gala, and we are still overwhelmed by the incredible show of support from our community. Thanks to your gracious attitude of giving, we successfully raised funds that will directly support our members during times of crisis and allow us to give back to our community all year long.
To our donors and attendees: your generosity makes everything we do possible. We are deeply grateful to stand alongside such a supportive community.
A special and well-deserved thank you goes out to our dedicated board members. Putting together an event of this scale takes countless hours of hard work, passion, and commitment, and you brought it all together flawlessly.
Thank you all for having our backs and helping us make this night unforgettable! 🇺🇸🚓

💙 Standing Together for One of Our Own 💙
Family always takes care of family, and today we are reaching out to ask our NPPOA community to wrap their arms around a retired member of our North Port Police family, Officer Derek Bartolotta, and his loved ones.
Recently, Officer Bartolotta’s four-month-old grandson, Cillian, was diagnosed with bilateral retinoblastoma. Over the next six months, little Cillian and his parents, Cody and Jessica, face a tough road ahead filled with frequent travel to Miami so Cillian can receive chemotherapy treatments.
As you can imagine, this unexpected journey has brought immense emotional and financial stress to the family, including Cillian’s two sweet older sisters.
Officer Bartolotta served our community with dedication, and now it is our turn to support his. We are asking our North Port Police Officers Association family, friends, and community members to come together and help this wonderful family navigate such a heavy circumstance.
If you are able, please consider donating, sharing, or keeping Cillian and the Bartolotta family in your thoughts and prayers:

Good morning, NPPOA family and supporters. It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of former North Port police officer, Chris Marier. Chris was a dedicated officer who went on to become a valued professor at higher learning institutions. Chris and his family remained North Port residents and continued to support their community.

Tragically, this past week, while in Casselberry, Fl, Chris’ vehicle was struck by a perpetrator fleeing law enforcement at speeds of more than 100 mph. Chris and his brother, Tyler Marier, were both killed. In that moment, his wife and children lost a husband, father, provider, and a piece of their hearts. A Go Fund Me has been created in an effort to assist the family during this time of incredible loss and pain. While no amount of money can replace his presence, every donation helps to ease the financial burden left behind and lets the family know that they are not facing this alone.

Shannon and Chris were partners in every sense of the word, building a life toget… Mallory Herzog needs your support for Support for Shannon After Tragic Loss
