Thinking about joining us for the TSW Summit next month? Today is the last day to snag early bird discounted tickets, saving $30 per registration!

We are so excited for this gathering and hope you will join us to hear from top-notch doctors, researchers, and our own amazing TSW survivors and advocates.

If you haven't secured your ticket for the TSW Summit yet, now's the time. There is limited space, so we encourage you to book your tickets early to ensure we are not sold out.

We understand that going through TSW can make traveling away from home tricky and you may feel hesitant to commit (we've been there). Rest assured that we understand and are doing everything we can to make the event as TSW friendly and comfortable as possible for you! And if your skin takes a turn (as we know it can in this roller-coaster of TSW), we are happy to exchange an in-person ticket to a virtual one and refund you the difference.

There is something about art that reaches another human in a way nothing else can.

That is why we are hosting an art exhibit at the upcoming TSW Summit in Atlanta, Georgia July 24-25. This summit will be a gathering of key thought leaders, cllinicians, and researchers along with TSW community. We want to showcase pieces not only in an effort to create solidarity, but also to highlight the TSW experience so that those who are not living in our skin can better understand just how deep this condition affects a person.

If you would like to learn more, join us today on zoom to get all the details.

This past week, ITSAN representatives, Kristin Fletcher, Sarat Pothuri, Reva Vaddi and Kelly Barta met with US legislators and their staff to share their experiences with eczema and TSW, and the major unmet needs our community face. They joined 75 advocates affiliated with other national skin advocacy groups who are also part of the Coalition of Skin Diseases. Together the group had over 100 meetings with Members of Congress!

Our representatives shared how they spoke with many, from a US Congressman in Ohio to legislative fellow from Germany working for a Georgia Senator, who were currently dealing with eczema and have heard of TSW, but were not fully informed. This is why we advocate for our community! The more we share our stories with truth and urgency, the more the word spreads. And the more the word spreads, the more quickly this issue will be taken up by those in places of authority who are in a position to change the way topical steroids are prescribed and used.

We have some big news to share! Fera Tallow has officially partnered with ITSAN (International Topical Steroid Awareness Network). 🤝

Fera Tallow is passionate about supporting people with challenging skin conditions like eczema and TSW, and believe everyone deserves a safe path to healing.

Founded by Joanna Hopkins following her own experience managing eczema and long-term steroid use, Fera Tallow was built on a determination to offer a gentle alternative for eczema-prone skin and to ensure others navigating similar journeys know that different options exist.

Fera Tallow makes small-batch tallow balms using grass-fed tallow sourced from regenerative, high-welfare, certified organic British farms. Tallow's fatty acid profile closely mirrors the composition of the skin’s natural oils, making it compatible with the skin barrier, particularly for skin that is sensitive, reactive, or recovering.

We are so grateful for companies like Fera Tallow who are aligned with our mission to support individuals and families going through TSW and welcome them to our Healthy Skin Club!

TSW can affect so much more than just the skin — especially during the teen years. ❤️‍🩹

Join us for a special live conversation led by Reva Vaddi, a TSW teen advocate, sharing the real mental and emotional challenges of navigating Topical Steroid Withdrawal. Together, we’ll discuss the realities many young people face during TSW, including anxiety, isolation, self-image, friendships, school, and finding hope during the healing process.

Our goal is to create a supportive and honest conversation where teens and families feel understood, encouraged, and connected to others who truly “get it.”

Reva is a 17-year-old junior at Weston High School in Massachusetts. Outside of school, she has a passion for dance and singing, and dedicates her free time to volunteering at local healthcare facilities. Reva is also a dedicated advocate for awareness of Topical Steroid Withdrawal (TSW). Having experienced TSW firsthand, she is committed to sharing her story to support others navigating the same journey and to ensure that patients feel seen and heard.
