1 million Champions

The mental health epidemic is one of the most pressing challenges of our time. Every day, we hear stories of rising anxiety, depression, burnout, and other mental health struggles affecting people from all walks of life. While it's essential to keep the conversation going about these issues, it's equally important to ask: What are we doing about it? Talking is just the beginning, but action is what drives change.

That’s why my friends Jimmie Vincent and Shivam Dubey are leading the charge with their Champions of Mental Health campaign. This initiative is all about taking meaningful steps to raise awareness, break down the stigma surrounding mental health, and empower individuals to be proactive in their mental well-being. Together, we aim to create a community of 1 million champions—people who commit to supporting mental health for themselves and others.

*Promoting Mental Health Education*

I'm thrilled to share photos from my recent visit to Phillis Wheatley Elementary School in Apopka, where I had the privilege of reading mine and my colleagues books to an amazing group of students!

"Bichon the Brave," "Patches Gets the Blues," and "The Adventures in Aqualand" tackle complex emotions and mental health themes in a way that's accessible and relatable to young minds.

By sharing these stories, I aim to:

Normalize conversations around mental health
Encourage empathy and self-awareness
Foster resilience and coping skills

Mental health literacy is crucial for our children's well-being and future success. By introducing these topics early on, we can:

Break down stigmas surrounding mental health
Empower kids to express their emotions
Build a more compassionate and supportive community

Let's prioritize mental health education and make a positive impact on the next generation by becoming a Champion of Mental Health!!!

As a child and family therapist, mentor, coach, and children’s book author, my mission has always been to support the well-being of young people.

Day Two of our STEAM & Golf Youth Camp was a success! Students delved into Self-Management and integrity in golf, along with a thrilling STEM project - constructing drones. Their teamwork, problem-solving, and collaborative ex*****on were remarkable, showcasing progress that is truly inspiring. Combining STEAM education with golf equips them with essential skills for future success.

Exciting news! Due to the growth of our camps over the past 4 years and community demand, we're gearing up to launch a year-round STEAM & Golf after-school program. This initiative aims to provide continuous support and enrichment, fostering essential skills for our youth. Stay tuned for updates and opportunities to support our mission.
