During the mourning period for Pope Francis, Bishop Gerald M. Barbarito will celebrate a Mass of Remembrance and Prayer for Pope Francis at the Cathedral of St. Ignatius Loyola on Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at 6 p.m. All are invited to celebrate this Mass with the Bishop as a way to honor Pope Francis.

Every year we partake in is the pilgrimage of the Silver Rose that travels all over the US and eventually reaches it final destination at the Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe on December 12th at the Basilica of our Lady or Guadalupe in Monterrey Mexico. This year, the week of August 18 - 23 the Rose will be in the Diocese of Palm Beach. I am encouraging all Catholics or any Christians who wish to take part please join us at any of the locations listed in the photo.

This year the Knights on Bikes from the Diocese of Palm Beach will be escorting the rose from church to church Our brothers to the South from the Archdiocese of Miami will be joining us at St Vincent Ferrer. The Fourth Degree Desoto Province Palm Beach District Color Corp will be assisting during the services. These are amazing events and ask that you prayerfully consider joining us. Saturday was a great day for the Assembly 0155 Golf Tournament. The golfers and volunteers had a great time and some money was raised for some great charities. Keep your eyes open for next years tournament.
