The Arbor Day celebration was a resounding success, with an impressive turnout despite the inclement weather. All groups and family members attended, demonstrating their commitment to the cause. We extend our gratitude to the Yaupon Garden Club for their role in creating and hosting this project. The North Myrtle Beach Tree Board's City Memorial Tree program and the South Carolina Native Plant Society Grand Strand Chapter's grant, which supported the purchase of memorial trees, are also appreciated. We thank Mayor Jay Baldwin for his attendance and participation in the unveiling of the new RED WING TRAIL. We value his support. Finally, we acknowledge the contributions of Garrett, Jim, Matt, and the North Myrtle Beach Parks and Rec Department.
