Science in action in 4th grade! Our young scientists combined baking soda and vinegar and watched a chemical reaction come to life as carbon dioxide filled their balloons. Hands-on science is the best kind of science! 💛💙💛💙

Strong Musicians in the Making! 🎶

Fifth grade learned the 7 Habits of a Strong Musician: Read, Listen, Perform, Create, Rehearse, Lead, and Reflect!

Today, we put three to the test: Rehearse, Reflect, and Create! Our music makers learned Lean on Me, rehearsed the melody, reflected on how they could improve their performance, and then made it their own! 🎤

As a class, they chose to add a steady beat to the refrain and group singing during the bridge. With all 7 habits, and a little weekly Rhythm Dexterity, these strong musicians are just getting started! 🎶💙💛🦁

Ms. K's 2nd grade cowboys turned into scientists this afternoon as they conducted an experiment to see if raisins would "bounce" in soda and water. Words like hypothesis and carbonation are now a part of their vocabulary!
