Remember, If you live in Seaside I invite you to join our private page Friends of Seaside Plantation. There you can post to other neighbors on a variety of subjects. It is not a place to ask for POA help or service. That’s still done through CAMS, our property manager. As well no complaining about the BOD or CAMS. Do that by email to the party your concerned with. You’re welcome to share new restaurants, a new store, a service vendor you enjoy, a movie you liked, a recipe, a lost pet etc.
That FB page is private to neighbors and your family only. No solicitors, no sharing any personal data by us… if you wish to share any personal data that’s up to you. But we never share any information that’s not in your public profile. It’s always a good idea to double check your public profile to determine if it needs to be modified, made more private or updated. Please let your neighbors know about our personal FB page “Friends of Seaside Plantation”. We have so many new neighbors!

The private page is not a part of our BOD team.. it is just we neighbors.

FYI. As you may know NMB Main Street will experience a “protest” march tomorrow Tuesday June 2 sometime between 9AM and 3PM. We can only hope it’s peaceful and no bad actors become involved. It is set to stage at the old Bi-Lows on Main and March East towards Ocean Drive . I’d stay clear of the area...

We hope everyone is safe and sound. It appears SS was spared any major damage from Dorian. I’m told mostly minor lawn debris. It is a testament to the layout, design and quality of our numerous builders that we live a few short blocks from the Ocean and have skirted numerous hurricanes over the last years.
Seaside is a special place with many great neighbors looking out for one another in all circumstances.

For those riding out the Dorian in Seaside I wish you safety and comfort. There are many who stayed behind. If your situation becomes an emergency reach out to officials as well you can reach out here and we will attempt to seek a neighbor to assist if at all possible . Be safe!

With so many new folks moving in it’s probably a useful time to brush up on our simple rules written years ago that are part of all of our deeds. The rules are easy to follow, and are in place to provide all of us with comfort and enjoyment. It’s also smart to share the rules with your guests. When you live at the beach its not unusual to host folks that are on vacation. Of course we all like to let off some steam when we are vacationing. Seaside is not a beach rental type community. It’s a neighborhood that just happens to be two blocks from the beach. We who live here year round not only play here but work here. The rules listed on our website under “CC&R’s and Bilaws” in the “Owners info” tab are easy to follow and provide us all with quiet enjoyment. Take a few minutes to read them...
