Recently, High STEP students from JWP, St. Clair, and Waseca had the opportunity to tour Minnesota State University's Clinical Sciences Building and Simulation Lab.

Students participated in hands-on activities and gained valuable skills to bring into their future careers.

Thank you to Minnesota State University, Mankato for welcoming our students and providing this opportunity in your beautiful facility!

Last week, SCSC hosted a Community Action Poverty Simulation, an educational experience designed to simulate the complex challenges and decisions families experiencing poverty may encounter. Participants were assigned the role of a family member and asked to navigate community resources to best meet their family’s needs.

Experiences like this introduce new perspectives and help participants better understand how to serve others. SCSC is proud to support the cities, counties, and schools we serve through professional learning opportunities, community partnerships, and resources that help them do their jobs more effectively.
