Water Mission and Compassion International completed their first joint safe water project in Peru, commissioning a new system in the community of Chiucas in January. With the installation of a reverse osmosis system, the 520 residents can now access safe water every single day. 💧

Water. A daily walk. Childhood.

Depending on where you live, these words can take on different meanings. For one of the 2 billion people impacted by the global water crisis, water can mean a muddy pond. A daily walk might mean miles with a 40-pound jerry can on your head. Childhood could mean waiting in line for water instead of playing with your friends.

You can help change the meanings of these words for people around the world. Every dollar you give brings safe, clean water to someone in need. ⬇️

Cyclone Senyar was one of Indonesia's most devastating natural disasters in recent history. More than 1,200 people lost their lives, and a million people were displaced. Many families were without access to safe water and electricity.

But thanks to your support, our Indonesia team was prepared. The team immediately deployed and began delivering emergency safe water and sanitation solutions.

Your ongoing support equips Water Mission’s eight country programs, so they are pre-positioned to respond when disasters strike. Read our latest story on the impact of our Indonesia team's response to Cyclone Senyar. ⬇️
