Pawsitive Ohio

Pawsitive Ohio We are an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization with the goal to end the needless deaths of healthy dogs and cats in our surrounding areas.

Our focus is on hosting spay/neuter programs, adoption events and offering education to the community. It is our vision to create a community in which no healthy dog or cat has to die simply because they don't have a safe place to call home. We will be an advocate for the shelters, rescues and their volunteers in this area—moving forward and working together to end the deaths of homeless dogs in Northeast Ohio.

The weekend is basically knocking on the door, and if you're anything like me here in Ohio, you might be looking at a decent forecast. I'm planning to lace up, leash up, and get my four-legged friends out for some fresh air. How about you? 🐾

REMINDER: public spaces are better when everyone — human and dog alike — feels safe in them. That's what is all about.

Now tell us: What's your why? Drop your story in the comments!

ADOPTED!!💖JACKIE 💖 How can you resist the longing for a forever home in her eyes?
This beauty is 4 months old/ 19 pounds.
We aren’t sure how large she may get.
She’s got puppy energy for days!
She needs a loving family to teach her how to become the best girl ever!

We have no history on stray dogs.
Please bring your family and other pets to meet them and see if they are a good fit for you.**Please prepare to crate your pets for the ride home. We do not allow newly adopted dogs to ride in the car without being properly separated from their new friends **
Decompression and patience are the keys to success when adopting a shelter dog.

Brodie 💔

Brodie is a handsome young adult great dane mix? looking for a forever home! He came in as a stray from Austintown on December 6th and sadly no one came looking for him. We do not know what all of his breeds are, but he is simply stunning.

This young man is playful and friendly. He will need exercise, training and one on one time. He deserves to have a home and a family of his own!

Brodie is a one of way too many homeless dogs in need of a family. Dogs need companionship and he is not getting that while here in our care. 💔

1-2 yr old mix
Dog friendly
Kids unknown
No cats
70 lbs

If you are interested in this pup please send an email to [email protected] to request an application. Once approved we will contact you to set up a time to come in.
