We are solely funded by parents and educators in partnership with local businesses, civic groups, and the community. Our Mission is to:
-PROMOTE academics
-ENCOURAGE each student to strive for his or her personal best
-RECOGNIZE Hoover High School students' achievements, leadership skills and citizenship
Support can be given to the HABC by making a tax-deductible contribution to help provide scho
larships and acknowledgement to Hoover students for their academic achievement. Donations can be sent to Hoover Academic Booster Club (HABC), P.O.Box 2641, North Canton, Ohio 44720. Scholarships:
Each Spring, the Hoover Academic Booster Club awards scholarships to deserving graduating seniors who plan to further their education. Academic Letters:
Each Fall, students who maintain a 3.75 weighted GPA or above for the previous school year will receive a Hoover High School academic letter provided by the HABC. Gold bars are presented to students who maintain a 3.75 weighted GPA or above in subsequent school years and have already received their letter. The HABC meets on the second Wednesday of the month at 7 pm at Hoover High School during the school year. The meeting is open to all high school parents. It is a great opportunity to support our students academically and meet other parents, as well as provide an opportunity to listen and talk with high school administrators and/or guidance counselors.
