Happy National Cat Day! 😻
Today we're celebrating the cats who share our homes, and the many still waiting for one.
A few things worth knowing:
Millions of cats enter shelters every year. Adopting saves a life and frees up space for another cat in need.
Spaying and neutering is the most effective way to reduce the number of homeless cats. One unspayed female and her offspring can produce dozens of kittens in just a few years.
Cats are very good at hiding pain. Regular vet visits help catch problems early, even when your cat seems healthy.
Senior cats and bonded pairs are often overlooked, but they make calm, affectionate companions.
