HARVEY AUGUR (July 31, 1794-October 29, 1882)
Harvey married Lydia Robinson in 1823 in East Haven. They had 5 children including a set of twins, Oliver and Olive. He worked as a carpenter later becoming a farmer.

Harvey was a Baptist attending church in Montowese. His wife Lydia and their youngest daughter, Esther, who tragically fell into hot coals are buried with him.

According to the 1880 US Federal Census for agriculture he had his farm land and buildings were valued at $2500 and $100 for livestock.

North Branford Congregational Church Cemetery

Reverend Charles Atwater 1786-1825

Reverend Atwater was born in New Haven and graduated from Yale College in 1805. He married Mary Merwin on October 4, 1809, and served as the third minister of the Congregational Church. His life was cut short when he passed away at the age of 38. In his memory, his grandson later donated the funds to build the Atwater Memorial Library.

Jennette Linsley Maltby Alling (1850-1913)

Jennette Maltby married Charles Alfred Alling on January 6, 1870 in Hamden. They had two children Morris and Mary. According to the 1880 census, Jennette was ill from childbirth. Following Charles's death in 1903, the September 18th edition of the Morning Journal-Courier reported that Jennette had accepted a position as matron of the Moody School in Northfield, Vermont.

Center School, now Totoket TV. It was built in 1876 as the 2nd District school. It has been used as a school, the Town Hall, the Senior Center and Totoket TV. The building is located at 1675 Foxon Road.
