Evergreen is the largest statewide MTB Advocacy and trail-building organization in the United States. We partner with land managers, communities and user groups to create great trails all over the state. Ten regional chapters. One membership. Thirty days. Let's go.

Today we’re kicking off our September Membership Drive and gearing up for our fall trail building season.

We have several new trails being constructed across the state from Loup Loup to Number 2 Canyon, plus ongoing maintenance everywhere from Duthie to Kettle Crest.

We have work to do, and our members make it possible.

Over 8,400 riders across Washington, starting at $50 a year or $4.17 a month. All your dues go to the local chapter you select.

Cascades to Sound. Central. East. West Sound. Methow. South Sound. Southwest. Kittitas. Columbia Basin. Cowlitz-Naches.

That's the crew.

Last week, our Trails Program Director Brandon Ontiveros met up with the Washington Department of Natural Resources crew at the North Mountain Skills Area in Darrington.

Together, we cleared, leveled, and finished a new parking area on North Mountain Road.

Previously, about two cars could fit there. Now, there is room for 10 cars, making it much easier for riders to access the skills area trails.

We built these trails several years ago. Mostly green and blue trails, with a couple of black trails, it's a great place to warm-up or work on skills before heading out onto the larger North Mountain trail system.

A big thank you to DNR for making this happen, and the Salser Family Foundation for providing additional funding for this project.

Trails Survey ✍️

Beacon Hill may just be one of our many trail systems that we serve but it’s a real gem. Because of this, we know there are a wide range of opinions on what trail work gets completed and what maintenance looks like for these trails. Help us plan and prioritize by giving us your feedback using this survey! We plan on incorporating feedback into our trail maintenance projects this fall/spring.

The survey is open until September 30th. Please note that we captured most trails on Beacon but maybe not all (dang there’s a lot of them!). Feel free to add trails and your thoughts in the comment areas of the survey. 💚
