Good advice. The 4th is so hard if you have reactive animals! Keep them safe. First and foremost, make sure, starting today, your furry friends are wearing collars with updated tags.

New senior girl, Blue, coming to Love A Mutt. I have wanted to be able to help the poor senior dogs who are dumped at shelters for a long time. I have finally secured a wonderful foster with a heart for the old timers. Blue will arrive next Monday! If you'd like to make a donation for her care, please visit www.loveamutt.org. Facebook friends! Momma Honey's day is approaching quickly! It's such an exciting time for Honey, the rescue and especially the poor foster parents who will be making their way through this process...can they have a round of applause!! Here is a list of the supplies we will need. If you can provide even ONE of these items, we would so appreciate it!
1. Towels / blankets
2. Heating pad / hot water bottle / heat lamp
3. Thermometer (room and re**al)
4. KY or equivalent jelly
5. Bulb syringe
6. Whelping box (kiddie pool)
7. Paper towels
8. Unscented baby wipes
9. Puppy Pads
10. Examination gloves
11. Newspapers (we have some but all the websites indicate that we will need lots)
12. rags
13. Antiseptic
14. Unwaxed Dental Floss
15. Karo syrup
16. Puppy ID Collars (we found this item to be a good choice if you can order it. They grow with the puppies and can be re-used, and there is less chance of the puppies destroying / swallowing them: http://www.pupcolors.com/)

Here are some items that would be nice to have but are not necessities:
