A big thank you to Symetra and their awesome crew of volunteers for packing and donating 200 snack bags for the Feed Kiddos Summer Food Program! Each bag includes a week's worth of snacks, including favorites like applesauce, goldfish crackers, protein bars, and beef jerky. Thank you for helping to make sure that no kiddo is hungry this summer!

This amazing girl scout troop packed an entire week's worth of bags (over 250!) at their team meeting and delivered them to Feed Kiddos. They purchased the food themselves, which was a huge help at a time of the year when we have fewer food drives. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

A big shoutout to Amazon's BCD team for their $5,000 grant and packing over 400 meal kits for our summer food program! These meal kits have all the ingredients needed (and the recipe) for an easy-to-make, healthy, kid-friendly meal. These were a big hit during our winter break distribution, and we're excited to bring them back!

A special thank you to Feed Kiddos super volunteer, Katie Cline-Taylor, for applying for the grant and organizing this for her team at Amazon.

Help packing and unboxing items to provide weekend food bags for kiddos in need. This is a family friendly event, and children under 15 need to be accompanied by an adult. Please consider bringing a food donation as well - items needed are: granola bars, single-serving oatmeal, single serving snacks...

Tomorrow is GiveBIG, an annual statewide fundraising campaign for nonprofits in Washington. We hope you’ll consider supporting Feed Kiddos! Our goal is to raise $5,000 to support our summer food program.

Summer food support is especially important this year. Transportation is a major barrier for struggling families to access food resources, especially right now with gas at $6 a gallon. On top of this, fewer families are now able to access SNAP (food stamps) due to new federal guidelines, and food insecurity is rising. Summer is a time when child hunger becomes more prevalent, as kids lose access to school-provided lunches.

Our summer food support for kids will take food bags to where the families are, with several pickup locations around the valley. This was a huge success during Spring Break, with almost every bag picked up! We’ll have some volunteer opportunities to support the summer food program, and we also need financial support as well. Every bit helps, whether a monetary donation or ordering food items off our Amazon wishlist.

This awesome crew from Snoqualmie Valley Evergreens 4-H helped pack over 450 weekend food bags and unbox a whole pallet of food! A big thanks to the kids and parents for their help making sure every kiddo in our community has food to eat over the weekend.

- Fall City: Aroma Coffee (in the blue bags on the east porch)

🍎Spring Break Food for Kids! 🍎

Feed Kiddos is offering free extra food for kids heading into Spring Break this Saturday, with multiple pickup locations around the valley. No sign-up is needed — just stop by and pick up what you need. Each food bag has a meal kit, peanut butter and jelly, pancake mix, snacks, sliced bread, and fresh fruit.

Saturday, 4/11 from 1-3 pm at the following locations:
• Fall City: Aroma Coffee (blue bag on East porch)
• Snoqualmie Ridge: Panorama Apartments (main office)
• North Bend: Feed Kiddos in the North Bend Outlet Mall (next to Bath & Body Works)

Our Spring Break bags are ready to go out to schools this week! They have eight days worth of breakfasts, lunches, and snacks and also include some heartier snacks and meal items, plus milk and fresh fruit. With the cost of gas and food right now, more families are struggling with food insecurity. Thanks for your support in helping make sure each of the 260 kids we serve doesn’t go hungry over break.
