Snoqualmie Valley Moose Riders - As you know, the past year and a half has been out of the ordinary to say the least. Many events were canceled because of Covid and we haven't had any meetings or gatherings in awhile. In addition to that, I haven't collected any dues from our non-lifetime members nor have we had many expenses during that time. And just recently, two very valuable MR officers have sadly resigned leaving our MR board with only 4 officers. This all adds up to leaving us on shaky ground for continuing our Moose Riders activity group at the lodge. You all should have gotten my email notice last week - I'm calling a meeting on Wednesday, September 22nd @ 6pm at the Lodge to discuss these issues and to determine how we go forward from here. If you value the Moose Riders like I do, and want to keep it going like I do, you should attend this meeting and help us determine our future. Thank you. Signed, Colwell Reed - MR President

NON MOTORCYCLE RIDERS PLEASE TAKE NOTE--->Riders know this, but the general public may not be aware - If you have never been part of a benefit ride you should know at least this: Bikers PAY to ride. Something they could do for free. But they choose to pay to ride, the fee can be anywhere between $10 to $20 or $30 per person. Not only do they pay to ride, they usually drop a lot of cash for the extras. Raffles, 50/50, and silent auctions, even Toy Runs for kids.... When you see a group ride by, they are probably riding for charity/great causes/benefits! Instead of getting upset because they blocked traffic or caused you a slight delay, please remember this: They are very generous people!!! Give them space and your patience. It sometimes helps to have a little reminder about things. So please be patient and smile when you see them because they are doing something good for someone you may know, or for a good cause.
