Today, on World Gratitude Day, we’re taking a moment to appreciate the people who make the arts such an important part of life in the Fox Valley. 💙

To the artists who create, the educators who inspire, the advocates who champion the arts, and the audiences and supporters who show up - we are grateful for all you bring to our community.

The arts are stronger because of you.

There’s nothing quite like experiencing the arts LIVE. 🎶

The Fox Valley is fortunate to be home to an incredible arts community, and the Elgin Symphony Orchestra is getting ready to take the stage for its 77th season!

Under Music Director Chad Goodman, the 2026–27 season will feature works by Tchaikovsky, Mozart, Dvořák, Berlioz, Shostakovich, Gershwin and more, along with world-class guest artists and special programs including Día de los Mu***os, Holiday Spectacular and Hooray for Hollywood.

🎟️ Single-concert tickets are on sale beginning TODAY, September 2, with tickets starting at $20.

We encourage you to get out, experience a performance, and support the talented artists and organizations that keep the arts thriving throughout the Fox Valley.

Here’s to another extraordinary season, ESO! 👏🎻

The arts enrich our lives in countless ways - through creativity, connection, education, and inspiration. Behind every performance, mural, exhibit, concert, and classroom is someone whose passion has made a lasting impact on our community.

The Fox Valley Arts Hall of Fame believes that these contributions deserve to be celebrated while artists, educators, and advocates are here to know how deeply they are appreciated.

Honoring their legacy isn't just about preserving history. It's about saying thank you.

Did you know the Declaration of Independence was adopted on July 4 but most of the signers actually put their names to it on August 2nd? Celebrate the United States' *other* birthday with a free concert all about democracy!

And TODAY marks the 250th anniversary of George Washington having the Declaration read aloud to the Continental Army in New York.
