🦁 Join us Saturday June 27th at 9AM at the North Aurora Police Department for a day of fellowship and fun!
🦁 Come for an hour or stay for the day!
🦁 Crochet or Knit apparel for Maddie's Mitten March, Senior Services, Illinois Cancer Specialists, DCFS Foster care and Phil's Friends, S.A.C.K.
🦁 The crochet and knit-a-thon is sponsored by the North Aurora Lions Club. We collect yarn year round from the community for that day. Feel free to bring your own yarn or use ours! We will be providing lunch to participants.
🦁 Just a beginner? No problem! We will have simple patterns for hats that anyone can do!
🦁 You want to help, but don’t knit or crochet? DONATE your yarn stash or new skeins in the Messenger Public Library!
🦁 Donate your gently used or new winter gear! Hats, gloves, scarves, coats……There will be a drop box in the Messenger Public Library or stop by the event!
🦁 You knit and crochet, but cannot attend on June 27th? We will still take your creations! You may drop them by the Messenger Library or at the knit/crochet-a-thon at any time! Look for the yarn drop box or contact Lion Lynn for a pickup.
